Probably because he buys them all first before you can.

All I see is Clubcard points, what is it we are buying?

Trying to resist.

Already have 4 x BB8 bought from Amazon Warehouse for £40 each.

Bought the boost too for £65 @ Amazon Warehouse but was missing bag number 4.

Just got a £65 refund from Amazon after my BB-8 got lost in the post, so great timing for me. Managed to finish off my Christmas shopping with this and the Lego Creator Poolside house which were both cheaper than Amazon. Thanks For Posting!

Tesco have been greedy and lazy this year, most of the best deals for Lego have been elsewhere and thanks to Their ineptitude I have found some other great places online to buy,so long Tesco and your Lego sets in plastic bags delivered battered and you know what you can do with your points.
Thanks for taking the time to post op.

Damn, paid £65 for this on Friday from Tesco!
Does anyone know if they'd be willing to refund the difference? I've not even recieved it from them yet!

Yes they will refund the difference within a 28 day period post purchase - would also ask for the 500 bonus points to be credited

They sometimes have reasonable deals (have bought Y Wing from there and it just had a scuffed box), which become even better with their 20% off Warehouse deals promo that comes up fairly regularly.

Hopefully you complained/got a refund on the boost if a bag was missing? Unless the description stated that in which case you have received what you paid for.

I can't find any T&C's for this promotion. Does anyone know if there's a limit on the amount of orders you can place?

I have a £250 order.. just wondering if it's worth splitting it and paying slightly more on shipping.

Going to contact Lego first to see if they will send me the missing bag. If not, I will probably return unless the parts in bag 4 are not unique.

My best deal from there was when they sold me the power functions box (still sealed) for £5.70!

I was in APM mall in Hong Kong at the time and rushed to the top floor to get free wifi from the bookshop to buy it.

My 3 24gb mifi was too slow.

Might be worth noting that OP mentions the 1000 points (base value £10) can be doubled on non grocery rewards to £20. However there are several reward options - restaurants, days out etc where the 1000 points (base value £10) can be redeemed for 4x that is £40 in rewards.

I don’t think there is a limit (though they have a fair use clause, which they could use to limit how many points they give). It is worth checking if you get 4000 points for £250 or 2000 (is it 2000 per £120 spent or 2000 total for £120+). If the latter then split your order. It is free delivery if you Click and Collect from your nearest Tesco?

Lego are unlikely to replace a complete missing bag if the box was open and therefore missing from Amazon (highly unlikely it was missing when it left their factory?).

Thanks. That's what I expected, but I still can't find the T&C for this.
I've split it into two orders now, so we'll see how it goes!

Their instore double up boost has stopped but I was referring to Tesco's online club card rewards site secure.tesco.com/clu…st/

Still not cheap enough and eBay will be flooded with them for ages. There's better options out there.

Do you C&C or have delivered? I always use Tesco C&C and picked up an order of 9 sets in a large box and each one was bubble-wrapped and in mint condition. I never have LEGO delivered now.

You must be very lucky or a thorn in their side,I click and collect and have rarely had anything arrive unscathed.

It's £85 right now, rip the offer

Thanks Jay another quoted that cannot be backed up..just like when your in the Inbetweeners saying made up stuff and no proof. If cheaper make this your next deal or see a Dr for this condition of making statements that are not true.

Thats another seller - price is still £56 for sold by Tesco but just out of stock at the moment

cheers

You're not wrong! Don't normally miss things like that... guess Tesco does not make it stand out as clearly as others

Wonder if it'll come back in stock while the offer's still on. Signed up for a stock update anyway but currently eyeing up Amazon's £59.99...

Got the last one today in Tesco outskirts of Belfast
