Forever and always the Slave 1

To be fair I did have Slave 1 in the title but it was edited. Always will be Slave 1

    Ridiculous that this was renamed

Bizarre they took the name off it. Even Blake's 7 had a computer called slave. It has kept its name.

Love how people still think the "renaming" has anything other than to do with making the product more marketable to casual fans who might just be getting into Boba Fett due to his recent resurgence.

It's almost like the supposedly iconic name "Slave I" hasn't even been uttered in any of the films!

It's because Disney explicitly told toy companies not to use the term "Slave 1" any more, and this came after the BLM protests. A lot of companies changed their language in wake of the protests. Lego had released other Slave 1 sets with the Disney logo previously.

Boba Fett died in the Sarlacc pit. This revisionist imposter series needs to end with Bobby Ewing in a shower.

Back before Boba got his own show they did, yes. But now more casual fans will be searching for the Boba Fett spaceship than they will for a "Slave I" toy, which newer fans won't know the name of. Lego use the term 'starship' in Star Wars sets all the time. Also 'shuttle'. It's just a simplification.

That's simply not the case, because even toys that carry detailed description of the ship now say Firespray 31, which is the model of the ship, they can't mention "Slave 1". All references have been removed.
