Did they seriously change its name from Slave 1 to "Boba Fett's Starship"? Companies sure are overcorrecting these days. The word by itself is not harmful. Context is important. (edited)

This set has been out for over 18 months, so it's not just happened. And they haven't changed the name, per se, just how it's described. I'm not saying I agree with it, or that there isn't some political correctness going on (but as you say, there shouldn't be any issue with the word slave, anyway) but I read it broadens out its marketing to people who don't know the name from previously (and for maximising search terms).

It aligns with what they have done with Lego set 76193 "The Guardians’ Ship", instead of labelling it "The Benatar". However, there is inconsistency, since there is the newer Lego Set 75325 that combines description with the name: "The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter".

This is a decent little build and play set at a good price.

To those foaming at the mouth about the name "change", it was never called Slave-1 in the movies, or the tv shows. Boba only refers to it as his ship.

It would be confusing for many buyers, and offensive to some.

Why on Earth would Lego call it that? (edited)
