Any post that is RRP is not a deal. Cooling added.
Mis-price surely? It's £64.99 isn't it? Isn't it?...

Not a deal etc etc

How likely do we think we’ll ever see this much less, though?
This set is immense!! Hot

Plus 5% equivalent In VIP points so take £32.50 off that! Plus free lego factory set , currently selling for £20+ .....that’s a final price of <£600....don’t forget TCB of 3.15% also! Which is worth about £17 on the VAT less price of about £541.70....giving a final total of £650-17-32.50-20....580ish

It's quite possible as set is no longer exclusive to Lego themselves.

Agreed, bought mine at Legoland for £584.99 (refer to my post of 10th March).

You will not get £20 for the minifig factory after deducting postage and fees etc.
Whenever this one gets posted, hotukdeals.com turns into legostockalerts.com!
On a serious note however, maybe Lego.com should add an 'alert me' function to its site - would truly negate the need for posts such as this. Don't get me wrong though, it looks like a great set!

Lego does have a stock alert of sorts - if you sign in and put the item in your wish list, Lego send you an email when the set becomes available. In theory at least - I've heard some people complain that they never received the email.
quidco cashback (find TCB tracking with lego better) is @ 10%. make sure you clear cookies etc so they do not try to deny your transaction. in a few days TCB will be 10% and Quidco 3%.
Just be aware. I've been using TCB and Quidco for well over 10 years and by far and away the worst culprit at not paying out tracked cashback is the Lego store, on both cashback sites. I'm lucky if get 25% of tracked purchases paid out.

As a result I never factor in the TCB/Quidco into a buying decision from Lego. Shouldn't factor it in with any purchase really, but some retailers are super reliable so it's hard not to. Just treat it as a bonus if it pays out, but don't use the possibility of cashback to compare prices with elsewhere.

I could not agree more, I never factor Quidco in!!!

Constructive criticism! Thanks for providing some example numbers of fees and postage, etc

Have NEVER had an issue with TCB or quidco Lego tracking! And I’ve bought quite a bit :-p

Edit
Also not had a problem paying out....I’m a patient type , it says it could take months, I wait months, it pays and I don’t moan in the interim about how it’s taking weeks

Rarely had an issue with them tracking. Just don’t pay out

Yep no issues tracking, just paying out is the problem. Waited for over 10 weeks for the first few purchases over £300 / still nothing
I've had the same issue with cashback. Bought set the last time it came into stock last Christmas with quidco at 10%.

Tracked relatively quickly but...
at the wrong amount (> £900),
wrong rate (3%) and
Still not confirmed after nearly 4 months.

Don't buy it and justify by thinking you'll get the cashback (soon!)

Still, i got a lovely black VIP card which makes the purchase a teeny tiny bit more justified.. .
You understand the point of this website HotUKdeals right...?

Its for posting bargains, not full price stuff...

Agreed. Not a deal. Same price. Appreciate the availability heads up, but not right for this site unless it comes with a massive discount attached. 😬

Of course you're correct, but it's hardly a biggie. This post comes up probably less than once a month, and the choice is either to ignore it (takes 0 seconds) or stop and complain about it. So as I see it, the only people negatively impacted are those who have consciously chosen to be. Maybe I'm just too easy going
No deal so it’s a cold from me

Very! LEGO will overproduce this and flood the market like it always does. I'm paying under £400 for mine as I'm in no rush.
Waiting for a retailer misprice and getting it for £79.99 when it gets confused with 71505

Lol, under £400 would equate to a 39% discount - dream on.
What a piece of junk!
Lol I really don't see the value in paying the price of a TV or decent holiday for a set of Lego. But fair play to those that do.
Still available on backorder so interest is waning. Those who bought to resell may struggle soon.

At £649.99 it's utter garbage. At £399.99, I'd still have to think about it. For the weight of plastic that you get, it's officially the worst value LEGO set ever released. LEGO will vastly overproduce this so just wait until the market is flooded.

You do talk out of your backside! This set works out at £49.20 per kg, whilst the First Order Heavy Assault Walker works out at £70.65 per kg. Hardly the "worst value Lego set ever released", is it?
