The Lego Shop May the 4th promotion went live at midnight and it runs for two days only. Any spend on Lego over £50 gets you all the freebies listed in the deal title, and several sets, including two of the current big ones (Super Star Destroyer and Imperial Shuttle) have been discounted by 20% for the duration of the promotion - that's £70 and £49 off respectively.

BTW this is my first deal so be gentle!
How do you get the free stuff???
It automatically gets added to your basket as soon as your spend on Lego Star Wars sets hits £50.
Want it so badly, think my wife would believe I won it in a contest
I want this lots! Would look awesome next to the Tie Fighter, X Wing and Millenium Falcon in my mancave but that price is still very steep for a Lego ornament...
Thanks for posting, just bought a second one
The weight alone of this one when made makes you go WOW
Forgot to add that this will net you £10 worth of VIP vouchers too!
Out of stock now, but you can still purchase it if you don't mind waiting a month for it to arrive.
I have a lot of Star Wars Lego and this is the one big set that does not interest me. Lego incarnation of the dullest looking ship in the Galaxy. If you want one though - good price, can't beat this in the UK.

Ah, but of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Personally I love the design and I always have, ever since I saw it on the big screen for the first time in 1980 - it's simple but totally terrifying. A huge dagger hurtling through space, dwarfing the Star Destroyers surrounding it (and we know how big they are). It's like the Death Star in many ways - that's really nothing more than a giant grey ball with a radar dish on the side, but it's still iconic and awe-inspiring, again due to its sheer size and what it represents.
Jerellis: its also the least practical of all lego sets - it will take up a lot of space to display at 125cm long. I have a lot of room dedicated to lego Star Wars in the "man cave" room, but I would struggle to find a home for this one.
I think that practicality goes out the window when you're spending nearly £300 on a Lego set! That said, I don't think this will provide as many display headaches as, say, the Death Star - after all, it's a long, narrow ship, and a sturdy shelf will be more than sufficient. I'll be finding out soon enough anyway!
