99p more at Smyths Toys if that's more convenient for anyone

Very good price as it is now £259.99 at Lego

This is a good price, but how come the poor OP who posted this same deal at ASDA days ago has got voted way into the cold, when this is getting heat?

Built this over xmas, very technical and detailed build which when complete looks great

£180-£200 is fast becoming the normal price bracket for this set!

this is the closest most people will get to a Porsche in their life

£174.99 @ Toysrus with 5% (£8.75) cashback at TCB and free delivery.

Even better if you have the £20 voucher from the Xmas promo.

Effectively paid £135 before xmas, doubt it will be that price again.

If I had the dough not sure I would want one anyway, to flash and midlife crisis motor (depending on your age) !!!

That's HUKD for you! No logic in it whatsoever...

I really wish I'd bought this when it was cheap

also LEGO Technic 42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator is cheap....perfect for scooping up M&Ms......"..and don't tell me you are not thinking about it !!!" X)

There is logic. I've found people seem to vote for what they can afford not what's a good deal. I posted up the dubarry sale with prices that you physically can't beat anywhere yet it went colder than the Antarctic same with a few of the more expensive shoe brands they all go cold even though the deal is half price.

I ordered a leplin the other day...£68something - got it in white too which kinda looks cool. Just not worth that extra £100 for me as will more then likely get boxed and forgotton shortly after had me build fun. Got the bare bone version, so no replica box (basically £5 vs with-box cheaper) and they send you a PDF of the instructions to download (incidently this is the official Lego version pdf. @500odd pages, guessing saves weight on postage more then anything too). Should arrive basically as raw bagged bits in some foam packaging in 7-15 days

Would love to know what the quality is like, I'd be tempted just purely cos it looks so much better in white

I've seen these sold at Sham Shui Po toy street last year. Lego is expensive in HK so a lot of people buy these fake Lego sets.

Quality is similar to Megabloks.

They dont send box and instructions to avoid being prosecuted for copyright infingement. Without yhe box and instructions all you bought was a pile of generic construction blocks. With the instructions and the box you've bought a blatant copy of a current Lego set. I'm sure some of those technic parts are still under patent, but they're doing what they can to avoid making the infringement that obvious to customs.

It does look better in white - those part gaps look like black trim from a distance rather than a huge gap between ill-fitting parts.

Not a Lego boff but Leplin bits are made 100% compatible with the official stuff, so in terms of clicking together should be the same minus missing logos...may well be a lower grade of plastic mind

This kinda shows the main diff with non standard bits involved with the 911....

If you have the orig, well worth a punt...would display amazingly as a pair

The do offer a Leplin box, its just a fiver more and think theres a vid on you tube about the paper booklet instructions they can supply too, whilst similar..missing out some of the further simplified diagrams between steps....prob just to differ that much enough from the original to get away with it. Gotta say, printed the Lego one in A4 double sided (tbf, what they supply would be smaller) and its a lever arch folder full, weighs a fair bit.

I'd love to get this for my little one but unfortunately I think he'd just wreck it reducing me to tears

Not tried it. Used my code on the Batman Batwing £36 set.
