Haha i just ordered 3 of these yesterday at that price, paid of the balance in full straight away, happy days
MJWNK ?

Is that why they filed charges against him?
Also, i got free delivery - i spoke to them on chat, told them my discount code wasn't working (which it wasn't, so they applied it for me) and they also waived the delivery fee as inconvenience

Are you expecting them to appreciate significantly in value?

Ofcourse - its a licened product by Porsche and retirement soon. This and the Chiron (if bought cheap like this deal) will double in value at the very least

That set may be retired soon as Lego has introduced the new super car set: 42083 Bugatti Chiron. So yes, after that I would expect at least £250 for Porsche at eBay.

If you search for Lego there’s a banner ad on the landing page that says 20% off technic?
im assuming that makes this the £159.99 and you can’t sort of get 20% off twice like?

I like your thinking but don't think you'll get away with it, good luck though!

Will probably sell for the full RRP or just a bit over so £250-£275 ISH once retired and unavailable in shops I would say

It's already reduced from the price so no.
Thanks, had purchased this on Argos but they sent me a beat up pre-opened item and now can't replace, so purchased a couple from here with the 20% off. Hope I have more luck. Heat.
Was it modeled off this one?

Lego as an investment has not been doing as well recently because Lego re-release big 'exclusive' sets such as the Taj Mahal and new millennium falcon. Lego do not benefit from customers reselling but Lego do benefit from re-issuing. I think it's possible to make money on this Porsche, especially at circa £130, but I'd be surprised if anyone can get big returns. Good luck though This is a great price so voted hot but I'm not buying it because although I love cars I just don't like the look of this set, never have. The Bugatti looks nice but if it sells out they'll just make more like they did with the falcon abs Taj Mahal.
Super hot price
...promo code doesn't work, at least not within basket, so won't be risking adding this to BNPL without having confirmation of the final price
I get the impression this hasn’t sold that well. I always see it discounted around this price. Makes me wonder therefore if anyone would buy this twice the price later on.
Ouch. Haven’t even got round to opening the box of my £160 one I bought last week.
Wait. I can just return it to Argos!
Thank you, also had to have a chat to apply discount code. They also waived delivery charge so total cost is £127.99 bargain. I will enjoy putting this together with my 5 year old son
Code doesn't work for me?? Still comes up as £159.99
Ahh it has to be first credit order, never mind haha

Don't kid yourself. Very available LEGO Technic sets like these are highly unlikely to reach RRP, let alone exceed it. Even the Unimog from years ago hasn't risen in value. Only a fool will pay more than 50% for a set to resell.

I must be a fool to make £75 on each of them now without leaving a house and without waiting for price to maybe go up ...

I do my builds with my daughter, really nice parent/child time as you watch them figure the tricky bits out.

Mercedes AROCS was commonly available for around £100-£110 and now sells for around £190-£200 which is just above the original RRP...

I had to phone after placing the order, 1st representative said they couldn't apply the code as item already discounted, I had to argue the toss. I said my friend had successfully ordered one using the code and had informed me abiut the offer and that was the only reason I had put myself through a credit check... They crumbled in the end.
No box for discount. Did you talked on chat before you place the order, or did you paid full price and they gave you a refund ?

...their customer service is rubbish to say the least, so can't be arsed to got through the whole "nine yards" process I will place it though in my basket and wait for another "proper" discount voucher, maybe lucky, if not it won't the end of the world
I gave up trying to order it
price has gone up now!
