Agreed, Lego is good quality plastic, but injection moulded plastic nonetheless. Sure designing the kit costs some, but all toys require design and testing, but somehow their injection moulded plastic cost far less.

Yeah and injection moulded pieces that are used in many, many other sets making for greater economies of scale.
Lego are really plumbing the depths if these are some of the main selling points. Hope you enjoy the building experience.

That's the sort of stuff that goes on all model descriptions. Seems pretty decent to me. Apart from the headline 2-speed gearbox, it's got a working winch, 3 differentials, independent suspension, steering, 6 cylinder engine, etc. Looks like a good build.
Looks more like an airfix
I think it looks like a good technics set. Price seems to be over the top like all new technics sets.
At least this will be built to a higher standard than the real thing - and will be more reliable!

Got to love the brand though

Spares will be a lot cheaper too.
Will this be good for the school run?
It looks better looking than the real thing

Amazon price match please 🙏🏻
Looks to be a great Lego set, I just can’t bring myself to buy a Land Rover Defender, even if it is just a toy version.
Presumably sold out as says “product not found”
Gone again OOS
This has been relisted and is in stock. Is it possible to unexpire a deal?

Id like to buy one as it looks cool, just the cost of it is too much.

Thank you, purchased - my son loves Land Rovers, can see myself having to buy a real one for him soon! I'll have to find a HUKD for it!
For those without Costco it’s now £128 on Debenhams with free delivery
