NatWest rewards customers can get £20 back at the moment in their rewards account too if purchasing this online on their credit card. If that makes this purchase more tempting.

Still want this - might have to pick up if coming to end of line, thanks for posting.

Each to their own, but I'm not a fan of these types of lego sets. To me, Lego is all about using your own creativity to build and play, rather than building pre-designed sets.

I spent £650 on a set two weeks ago, 30 years old and I'm still brick building. Also, Lego can be an investment if looked after, my Delorean has tripled in value in 12 months.

Thanks OP, been looking to add this to my collection for ages and have decided to go for it at this price. Can't wait to build it!

If you have a NatWest Reward Credit Card you just need to pay with that card. I received an email with details. You won't get £20 off at the checkout, but back in rewards.

Indeed, the world has gone mad for Lego.

Thanks op! I'm buying this on weekend and going to try to assemble this with my feet. It'll be my new weekend challenge!

My kids have had quite a few Lego kits over the years and they never get used as they fall apart. The kids then want them rebuilding but struggle to do it themselves as they are so complicated.

This year they have asked if they can have just a bucket of Lego so they can make that they want.

I will never buy one of the large kits again. It's frustrating for both child and parent.

That's the beauty of Lego. You can buy this set, and make whatever you want with it.

It's more for the large number of bricks you get for the price.

A good way to work it out is cost/number of bricks.
