£649.99 is a typing error as no one is paying that price for Lego

I just did, so that proves that theory wrong

Nope. That's the MSRP. I think this is an "availability" post, not a bargain post, as these have been difficult to find lately.

Yes they are very difficult to find and this is likely the last chance to get hold of one before Christmas, so I hope this helps somebody out.

Not a typo, but you do get 17.4kg of bricks! Lego even package it with it's own trolly, just to help you get it home.32804050-aficp.jpg

It weighs less than 14kg with the box so will be even less for just the bricks

And at £850 on eBay, eBay gets over £85 of fees too! Worth it for the collectors to store over a few years though

7.5 kg on actual Lego and 3kg for book. Rest is on packing how did you come up with 17.4kg ?
Link not working
They were in stock in Brighton yesterday, if only I had £650 spare:/
There's deal here. Full RRP

its a deal forum. Post deals instead.

Cooling applied.
You would think that for this price this set would incorporate the lego technic motors and such to make it have moving parts and mire interactive.
Oh wait that'll be the 'next' version to come out once everyone's bought this.

Can you blame them? I sold mine after it arrived, went for just under £1000.
Makes the next one I buy cheaper.

Does the tax man know? You should be a business not private seller if obviously selling for a profit. You'll get caught! ;-)

It's far better quality than LEGO and the colours are better.

There was a court case between Lego and lepin in China last week. Courts found in Lego favour so expect lepin sources to dry up shortly.

Lepin only have to change their name and they'll be at it again. Remember it's China where anything goes.

That court case has been going on for over a year and there is still no update.

The one you are referring to was against Bela. lego.com/en-…ela. This is a completely different company to Lepin and different case. It was also about copying the packaging and the trademarks although lego would like people to think it was also about manufacturing too (it wasn't).
