The set 6118 was last made in 2008 and since increased in price to a whopping £100 (ebay, amazon).
This seller makes packs similar to it.
The wheels were all in excellent condition and clean, some like new. I can imagine how much time it takes to sort, clean and whatever else to make a pack like that.
Just enough for 10 cars.
Impressed.
Kids super happy !
So I share :-)

The seller also has different wheels packs.

I just double checked. All the tyres and wheels and the plastic axles are marked with tiny "lego". Feels quality, unlikely to be fake.

Says brand is Lego, usually says generic if its "fake" Lego
I'm not sure these are worth £100
It's about £5 worth of parts at best so no, not worth it. Don't waste your money.

Please tell me where to buy it for £5, sorted into sets of 4, clean.
i looked into lego.com pick-a-brick and replacement parts (the link below)
lego.com/en-…rts

part number for example 87697

it appears that a single tyre costs £0.25-£0.45 and a wheel/hub £0.15-£0.25. so the average piece seems to be priced at £0.27.
for a 100 pieces that's £27. am i miscalculating? + £2.50 postage - nearly £30.

please correct me.

You can buy LEGO from other places than just LEGO themselves, BrickLink, Ebay, ect. Where it can be much cheaper.

so i want to buy 10 sets of 4 of lego wheels (40 tyres, 40 hubs, 20 axles). where do i go?
on ebay, just 1 set of 4 wheels on hubs with axles are about £3.
on bricklink is very difficult because of the minimum purchase and high postage costs.
on bricklink i can find the pieces but in 3 or 4 different stores.
each store is charging postage and each has a minimum purchase of £5, £10, £15...

someone suggested that i can but a set of 100 pieces (10 sets of matching wheels) for £5.
please tell me how and where?

also, on bricklink the parts are often damaged and dirty.the set i bought for £10 was all nice clean and perfect condition.

keep correcting me :-)
Is there any need to criticise someone who has simply tried to share something that they consider good value? If you don't agree and you can point to a better deal then fine, but if not.... to quote Oddball from Kelly's Heroes...

"Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves... Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?"
"someone suggested that i can but a set of 100 pieces (10 sets of matching wheels) for £5.please tell me how and where?"

Not sure anyone suggested that. I stated the approximate value of the parts. Parts which *you* are equating to those in set 6118. The part out value on Bricklink of a *new* set 6118 is £5.68 (for used its only about £2.68). This is based on the average 6 months sold value.

As for 6118 being worth £100 on eBay/amazon, it's not. Sold prices on eBay are £20-30 at most. There may be sellers *trying* to sell it for £100 but that means nothing.

"also, on bricklink the parts are often damaged and dirty"

I could easily say the same (and worse) about ebay & other marketplaces. Just because your buying experience on bricklink has been unsatisfactory doesn't mean everyone's will be.
I'm glad you got all the parts you want in good condition from a single source, that's definitely a good thing in anyone's book. I just don't agree it's as good a deal as it's made out to be (and I get disappointed when I hear negative stuff about bricklink. I know it's not perfect but the sellers on there will take better care of you than the ones on ebay, in my experience anyway).

if the value of used parts is £2.68 and i need to purchase from 3 different sellers and each charges me paypal/bricklink fee 6%, packaging/handling fee £1 and postage £1.40, i could potentially get the parts for £9.88 + £0.60 fees = £10.48 BUT 99% of sellers have the minimum purchase requirement of about £10. it will not work.
i had a really good deal and would have not share it otherwise.
it appears that no one wants the lego wheels at good price, oh wait! that guy sold some 3500 packs, LOL
