Ordered this and toy shop thanks

If you want the power functions for the train keep an eye out for the High Speed Passenger train set 60051. Bound to be on offer at some point this week. I paid £58 a while back and more or less got that back selling the parts, effectively getting the power functions for free

Good deal although may be worth waiting until BF to see what Lego themselves do. Especially with their £10 off voucher...

Thanks..Have already got the passenger train in the loft too ready for Christmas bought it for £56 last year from Smyths😄

I've ordered for store pick up. They hold it 7 days so I'll have plenty of time to see what Lego Shop does on Black Friday and can easily return if a better deal comes along. I was saving the £10 off for the station, plus the Nutcracker

merlinthehappypig - That's a really good point.

Was hoping for a deal with points at least to get the disney castle thats what I'm saving the £10 off for!

Are you planning to buy the winter village station as well ? I'm debating it as it's still kind of expensive for what it is... the train however is wonderful

Can anyone tell me what the £10 off at lego voucher is?

It's in the current catalogue. Probably only available if you request one online and will take about a week to come. Most stores seem not to have any.

Yeah, planning on getting the station using my £10 off and VIP points, plus the free Nutcracker which should sell for a reasonable amount next year to offset costs! It's expensive at £74.99 I think, but the aforementioned should help. Actually I've just bought another toy shop at this price. I'll either use it to make one huge toy shop or extend the station building which is a bit sparse.

The train is nice, though the proscribed method for adding the power functions is awful. Wires hanging about all over the place and the tender ruined by the battery holder. I extended the tender in the end and placed the battery pack and remote receiver in it and used the motor on that instead so everything is in one place and hidden. Much better

I’m being thick. How’d it work out at £90 for the pair?

Her son and the daughter in law are coming up for Christmas with their 18 month old screamer so I have decided to be festive for his sake, though I can envisage all these Christmas Lego sets going for a Burton all over the deck or even worse at the screen of the 65 incher in the front room if he gets his hands on them

Would you like us to look for a deal on a Glue or Staple gun?
One to fix the Lego together, the other to hold the child back.

Damn, I knew there would be an unobtainable trick to it.

Exactly what I did last year!

Got this the other day from the Lego shop. Anyone figured how to add the PF lights?
