insane price for lego worlds downloadable on switch.

create a secondary account (through my.nintendo.com and have the region set to canada) then link with secondary switch account.

grab credit here mobile.pcgamesupply.com/cat…ard that's it.

you'll have $4.25 cad left over. there are a few games you can get for that price e.g there's one called violet on sale at $3.29 that's less than £2.14.

How do you link with secondary switch account?

You don't need to. Just change your region.
I've got credit sitting on my UK account, so this deal has just prompted me to create a Canadian account. Piece of cake following OP's instructions. Just create a new user and log into newly created account.
what's the better game for a 4yo Worlds or City?

Lego City same price

Lego city isn’t the same price. Canadian dollars are worth less than US dollars. 9/10 game prices reflect that.

Lego city is $19.99 (cad) before tax. Which is roughly $15.55 US dollars (plus at least 50c tax on top)

Lego worlds is just cheaper in Canada. Equal to around $12.15 US dollars. After tax.

Do I have to log in to the new account each time I want to play this then? I'm not sure how the foreign store stuff works on the switch!

Not the same price but city is certainly the better game, my lad loved it when he was 4!

No need to keep switching. If you buy something on one account. It appears as bought on another.

Eg. I bought sonic mania in the uk store. When I look in say the Canadian store it’s marked as purchased.

Great! One last thing, can this be done from a P.C or do I need to be on the switch directly?

How do you link with secondary switch account?

Firstly go to my.nintendo.com & create a new account. Under settings choose the country you want it to be set to. (Canada in this case)

Then On your switch,
go to system settings.
Then User,
then add new user.
It’ll then prompt you to sign in with your Nintendo account (which you created at the start)

thats it. Like another user said. You can actually swap your primary account to Canada & then back to uk. But if you have credit saved (like I do) I believe you lose itWhen region swapping

Should be able to do it through your pc. But you’ll still have to buy eShop credit (pcgamesupply) and redeem it on your pc. As if you use PayPal or card it’ll recognise that they don’t originate from Canada.

Lego City same price

It's not - it's $19.99 with $1 tax which means you need to buy two vouchers to get it.... Please check your facts before you speak nonsense as your error meant I needed to buy two vouchers rather than one

yep, if canada had a state with no tax it would be cheaper to buy but as it adds $1 for tax you have too go for $35 card at jsut over £19

PITA as I would've just bought from USA but I'd already bought the first voucher.... Ah well, $18.99 for the next unnecessary purchase I'll probably never play! :-)

Why can’t you just do it on pc and then just download to switch out of interest?
I need to create the user on my switch then link it to my new canadian account

when you say set the country to Canada do you mean after you have set up an account or when doing it under country of residence?

You can do it either time, you just have to change it over before you can purchase it. it would technically be quicker to do it as your setting it up, as you won’t then have to go in and change it again I suppose.
This is a pretty good way of buying games to be fair, even on the more popular titles at $79.99 you would be better off (Just, but still) definitely something to look into. Thanks heat added.
Doesnt let me purchase the canadian credits - anyone else having same issue?
Can anyone find the Lego game on the Canadian site? It was in the list now I can’t find it anywhere, and keeps changing back to America??
