I don’t want to put a downer on any body’s holiday but we were told there would be help with his disability, which is chronic pain, so he need a wheelchair. At Alton towers you get to the front of the queue with the wheelchair on all rides. No in LEGOLAND they deside so we went to the wrong one which we couldn’t get in front of everyone else by accident as it had a similar name to another water ride, the man insisted we went backwards with the wheelchair with a ten year old child, bare in mind we just fitted down the entrance with it. I said we cannot as we will hurt a child. So in the end my husband had to lift my ten year old in his wheelchair over a fence. We argued for 20 minutes about the face that we couldn’t go backwards and gave up and my husband hurt his back and that was the end of our holiday. We were shouted at and mortified then our son started to cry as he was so embarrassed as everyone was looking at him. We all ended up in tears and just left. We had a couple of problems before that around the park. I’m just saying if you have a child with physical disabilities don’t expect kind and respectful staff. When I complained they said this didn’t ever happen hear. Not much fun for our son who was very ill at the time. If your child is well they will have a fantastic time as it looks great. All of the staff were very friendly apart from the five nasty ones we met

I took my son last year and found all the Logoland staff (that we'd encountered) to be wonderful. My son rates Legoland as his favourite.
I did a deal like this once and stayed at the Hilton in Basingstoke, I think I might of been closer to Euro Disney than Legoland

A good deal, but some of the "nearby hotels" might be a fair drive away.
My Hotel is a fair distance but at £110 it is well worth to tickets to go both days
I just tried booking through Travelzoo and then tried booking direct through the Legoland site.
prices were identical at all hotels listed so I am not getting the ‘additional 15% off’ claimed by Travelzoo???
Anybody else tried this?

Yes the staff were all very nice but as couple let them down. When you have a wheelchair and a disabled child it is not the same as a healthy child trust me I’ve have one of each. We got a really grumpy man for a member of staff
