can we use clubcard vouchers to pay for this?
No you cant use club card vouchers for this as they exchange the CC vouchers for a Merlin voucher. The Merlin Voucher you then exchange for a Merlin Pass.

I am struggling to find how u get 50% off the Merlin pass though as the prices are the same as normal. We paid the same amount last 2 or 3 years as is being quoted now.
50% off a Merlin Pass also currently available for a limited time. I think it includes Lego Land, as well a Alton Towers, Sea World, Madame Tussauds etc. So might work out better value.

I have had the email from them and it says
The Annual Pass Room will be open 10am - 5pm on the 7 & 8 January and then Friday, Saturday & Sundays throughout January for a limited time only. This offer is not available online.

Thank you for the link. Saved me a heap of cash as we buy these every year due to the value they offer.

Yeah, sorry.

As I have learned, going to Legoland (even though the rides are closed) and buying individual Merlin Pass means I can get 50% off. MAy have to make a special journey!

^The past years have seen the MAP sale online too - they're just being awkward now.
Great if you're lucky enough to be going on holiday near any of the other legoland parks as this pass gives you a free ticket to them included in the price.
We normally get the annual passes using Clubcard vouchers - £66.00 in vouchers or £124.50 in cash. I know it would be better value to pay cash and keep the vouchers, but doesn't seem a good deal if I'm handing over cash...
Can I only get the Merlin Pass from Legoland???? Can't I just buy it in London near the London Eye. Or is it just at Legoland?

I want to renew our family annual ticket. Can I buy the Merlin or Premium family one or is it just individual passes? Also, on MSE it seems it's not available online. Can someone confirm? Many Thanks

The Merlin pass deal is only available at the attractions. You need to buy Individual passes as family passes are not included in the deal.

tempted but I only go thorpe park, all my mates are boring or skint, would go 1 or 2 times and am bored too. I'll stick with the buy one get one free, good deal if you drive or have rich and fun mates
Can these be purchased from Alton Towers?
is it possible to share/lend these to friends or do they require signatures etc?
£37.50 is for children. its £49.50 for adults which is not so attractive....

The Merlin passes could be purchased from Alton Towers on select dates but I believe these are now past.

And to be clear if someone else is caught using your Merlin Pass it is taken and not returned. Small print empowers them to carry this action out.
I've had Merlin annual passes for the last 5 years but I'm umming and erring about renewing this time because of all the crazy terms and conditions they've put on the standard passes now.

They're still pretty good value if you go to the sites a lot, but I think I'll be giving it a miss this year and praying for some new attractions or a backtrack on the rules in the 2013 season to justify the increase!

They changed the Legoland & Blackpool rules (for Merlin passes) just before Christmas.
What rules have they changed? We had passes for a few years but we've not renewed yet?
Our Legoland passes run out in April. If I buy these, do they start from date of purchase or when the others run out?
Im thinking? is there any point in getting a merlin pass for 2 year old? usually its free for under 5 to go to these places anyways isnt it?
Am I correct in thinking that for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) this would need 2*£49.50 + 2* £37.50 for annual passes for all of us? Any better way of doing it?

Says free under 3
Last year on day of legoland opening we queued (for well over an hour mind you!) and got 3 individual merlin premium passes for about £95 each. No distinction between kids and adults so on of those was for my 4.5yr old. My previous legoland annual pass didn't run out till may but they still extended my new merlin premium pass to match hence it doesn't run out till may 2012. Hoping they do the same this year for all out passes if we buy them soon to take advantage of this offer.
My youngest is three in Feb. We just had merlin passes for me, my wife and our now 5.5yr old. Been to legoland, Chessington and sloton towers and all free for my youngest. Need one for him though come Feb as he will be three then
I meant alton towers but typing sitting on a bus lol
Finding this very confusing. If someone has time please can they explain the options in words of one syllable so I can work this out? Many thanks to whoever does this.
I have just called the hotline and they told me it is £78 each and there is no price difference for children with the Merlin pass although all children under 3 can enter all attractions free. You can also purchase the Merlin pass at any of the attractions.

Hopefully they don't ask him how old he is
don't forget at Alton towers you have to pay £5 parking your car every time you visit....unless you have premium pass...
How many times do you have to visit for this to be worth it? Probably 3 times per person? Just trying to work out how many times we will go - we have been in summer and would probably not do this again as queues so bad etc so it is only March - June and Sep - whenever it closes really.

I personally think that makes no sense and though I tried I cant get it to make sense (or all be one syllable (I couldnt even say Merlin))
