Snuggled up in Market Bosworth in rural Leicestershire, amid historic hotspots and villages, Bosworth Hall Hotel & Spa is a 17th-century manor boasting an imposing oak-panelled main hall and a Tudor-style stone fireplace.

This Grade II-listed building welcomes guests to rooms featuring en suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and hot drink-making facilities, some boasting views over the landscaped surroundings and the moat.

The on-site carvery restaurant tempts the senses with hearty plates for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the Crompton’s restaurant offers a table d’hote menu on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Guests may unwind at Spindles Health and Leisure Club and take advantage of the heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

The area surrounding the Bosworth Hall Hotel & Spa also offers plenty for guests to see and do. The magnificent Warwick Castle is very close at hand, and local attractions such as Twycross Zoo, Donnington Park Racing Circuit and The Snow Dome are also within easy reach of the hotel. The nearby historic village of Market Bosworth, located just a stroll away from the front door of the hotel, is famous for its flower display, and also hosts a range of galleries and antique shops well worth visiting. Guests planning to stay at this hotel should make sure to bring walking shoes for the countryside as well, as walks in this area are amongst the most attractive and extensive in Britain.

Never used groupon for this so not sure how this works, can you choose your dates first to see if they are available or do you have to purchase vouchers first?

We've stayed there twice. Once was in a fantastic family suite, the next a shockingly poor standard room. Be aware this is a Britannia Hotel - google them!

It's cheap for a reason but as long as you go with that in mind there's lots to do nearby.

way to generalize people thier avoid the peasants

Been a few times over the years both with work and as a civilian. I think many people are disappointed because as you approach, the expansive grounds and the exterior of the building look magnificent. One you are inside, the reality doesn't live up to the promise. It's priced cheap and cheerful, so you should adjust your expectations accordingly. Allocation of rooms is pot luck ranging from a bit tatty to really nice. The basic rooms are best described as functional. Like a lot of these places, most of the accommodation is attached at the back in relatively modern plain brick barrack style buildings. We and the couple we were with, all found it clean and perfectly acceptable. Unless it's changed, the breakfasts were good but the evening meal was buffet style and just ok.

Bosworth village right next door, is quite small with several welcoming pubs that do very decent trough. Pleasant canal walks. Nearby there is of course the Battle of Bosworth Field heritage site (unless they've moved the actual 'field' again). Other attractions such as an indoor ski slope etc at Tamworth and Leicester are all within driving distance. If you want proper posh, then don't be a tight wad and pay more than £26.55 pp per night including meals. As a base to explore the locality, then it's worth a go.

with most Groupon/ wowcher/Living Social deals you can go direct to the Hotel yourselves and sometimes get a better deal always worth a try I do lots of these deals but check the Hotels info as much as I can before hand. But If your really not bothered because the deal is cheap then go ahead and best of luck. Ive had good and bad really bad so do my homework as much as I can. but then again pot luck with some Ive thought were mmmm but turned out to be great. as for Bosworth no more for me its had its days. Cold inside rooms deco old and had it. The little village cut through back of the church well small isn't the word took us 10 min max then back. but yes I agree Tamworth and Leicester well worth a drive. Had a deal last year at The Charles Cotton in Peak District heaven didn't want to leave the area such beautiful walking area Loved it.

The Lakes, now you're talking, absolutely beautiful. Get half decent weather and it's my favourite destination too. Problem is, most of the year it's everyone else's favourite too!.

I have had a look at reviews... doesn't look great!! I was tempted by the price but I guess you really do get what you pay for!
