Not bad but that resolution is pretty dated .,

Does anyone know if it's possible to increase the ram on this?

It's possible, but requires removal of the bottom cover and battery and it appears there's only one slot so you'd have to do away with the original stick. Same procedure applies for the hard drive btw.

Why are people so fixated on HD screens?

Why would you want 1920x1080 on a 14" screen? When you then have to stick scaling on 200% to make it readable...

Honestly it's pathetic to dismiss a deal based on that alone. It might not suit "you" but others may consider it acceptable considering the overall spec

Subtract 5% quidco cash back. You can take this laptop home for £351

Because even on a 12.5 inch screen 768p sucks. And about scaling, even windows 10 on 1080p 10” screen you don’t need anywhere near 200% scaling.

Strange that it says the res is 1366 x 768, as in the description it states under Top Features
"- Full HD display and anti-glare technology provide clarity wherever you're browsing from "
and
"Full HD display

The IdeaPad 320 comes with Full HD resolution that displays every colour clearly and vividly. With anti-glare technology you'll be able to work, watch movies and update social media without being hindered by sunlight or bright lighting, providing a consistently impressive visual performance in all manner of environments.
