This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

2nd Edit: So total going through rewards site (below) comes to £761.
However, not going through rewards site, and just going through Top Cashback, and then entering in IDEAD50 is probably the best bet for anyone who is yet to order. The price comes to £769, but 3% TCB should track since the code is TCB approved

EDIT: Thanks to m3racer turns out you can get this even cheaper at the rewards site , by going to https://www.hotukdeals.com/visit/comment/40403003/16374991 and entering in the code EXCLUSIVENJ! and then select the above configuration and BEFORE checking out, enter in the 10% coupon code from the newsletter sign up. (Original price I posted at was £790).

Piggy-backing on tfal's previous posted deal, I haven't seen this configuration posted, and it's the one I went for. After doing my research, nothing even comes close to this in terms of overall specs, until you get to £1200 and over (the key things for me was the price, processor, 1TB SSD and 16gb ram, rather than graphics card).

The 1TB SSD is showing as a free upgrade for now, but not sure how long it will last.

I also went for a 3 yr on-site warranty.

news letter sign up for 10% off code
https://www.hotukdeals.com/visit/threaddesc/3424625/16180356

TCB has also has 3% for Lenovo, although it might not work alongside above code.

Note 3-4 weeks for delivery.

I think there's a 15 inch version of this, so you'd probs be able to get an even better deal on a 15"!

That's a nice deal, although its 15", and I've never gone below 17"!

So people should really be going with the PC specialist deal then right?

I went for the most expensive option (at the very right), and then under First Hard Drive, you select nothing, and for Second Hard drive you select the 1TB SSD, and then you apply the 10% code and you're good to go
The same spec is only £761 using this link with code EXCLUSIVENJ! and applying the 10% signup code: lenovo.com/gb/…ize

Thanks, I added the backlit keyboard as well as the 1TB drive and the total came to £829.99. with 10% off that makes it £746.99. which is cheaper than what you've put? Have I missed something out?

Depends what you're after. That's a 15inch laptop. Also, I assume it doesn't have a 1TB SSD? I haven't looked into that deal

The EXCLUSIVENJ! code doesn't go in the checkout box, you enter it when you first go into the Lenovo rewards site I linked.

I just realised what it must be, you're calculating 10% of the total price in your head, but when you actually input the code, Lenovo subtracts the hard drive discount when applying the 10% code. So it comes to £790. I did try speaking to their customer rep earlier today to try and make it 10% off total, and it was a no go, they said the offers can't stack
The same is for 731 on Lenovo rewards website, if that is or help for anyone.

Thanks for the tip. But when I follow your link and get to the page, once I actually click on the 1TB SSD, the price jumps to £785. Do you find the same? I believe the price you quoted is for the 512gb ssd

Oops my bad, I’m extremely sorry mate. You are correct the one I quoted is for 512SSD.
I bought this configuration about three weeks ago with the backlit keyboard, it came to £832, and after the 10% code it came to £746. Maybe they've changed the way the coupon code works. Still a great price though

That's cheeky of Lenovo. So can you give us your thoughts on the build quality and performance of your laptop? GTX1650 Max-Q is a cut down version of the 1650.
Might as well keep the 1TB HHD. I’ll image it, swap it with my own SSD. If I wanna sell the laptop on at least the original setup will all be there I guess. 3-4 week tho! Lockdown will be over

Weird. Mine showed up that price first time. Messed about with config a bit, then went back to my original spec and still £746.99.

People who are more in the know than me, would this spec be 'VR Ready'? Would it be able to play Half-Life Alyx?

Yep, but the spec posted is 1TB SSD? So that's the £790 price, and if you remove that, you get to the price you're getting. Unless I'm missing something.

This spec comes with a 1650 Max-Q and I believe it's too weak for VR. I asked @Ryan_Evans for his opinion, but he didn't care to comment. Oh well.

Your first pic shows a 1TB hard disk drive, but the spec I listed is a 1tb solid state drive. I believe that's the difference
