A very well balanced review here of a faster Core 2 Duo model.

same from ebuyer.

had it and sent it back, it cant handle vista, needs 4gb ram and fresh instal of a O/S installed again as they bundle and hide pre-installed programs and software which slows it down to PENTIUM 2 speeds. Mine also fried so bad that recovery couldnt recover it and it didnt load up again after 2 days.

seems to offer a free extra 1GB Ram too. (extra 1GB sent later). I'd take a picture of that. There might be a contradiction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the graphics card it looks a great buy.
Seem to recall Nvidea having Vista problems so graphics and service pack update would possibly be required.

Would assume they are all absoultely fine when. Well pretty much all.

(Lenovo bought the IBM brand and are highly rated)

Only the what was IBM Thinkpad T, X , series are the top end builds. The N3000 is a budget entry range of Lenovo. The Thinkpad T60, T61 are excellent builds, all the components are better specified than the N3000. Just google for the excellent reviews of T60 and T61 and you know why.

Absolutely incredible spec for the 'budget laptop'.

Build quality sounds good too, even so far as having 'metal hinges'.

i bought this laptop frm evay back in september...love it...only problem is the inbuild speakers...dey are not loud enuf at all, and if theres noice around u, u cnt hear nefing
