This is not a Thunderbolt dock. The specifications listed here are not those of the 40AF dock, which is a USB-c dock. The Amazon listing is also confusing.

£58 for used one on eBay ebay.co.uk/itm…2YQ

Anyone here using this with a Dell laptop? Assuming it’ll work fine as it’s just passthrough but may be wrong!
We use these at work as the docking station. Work great. Some of the laptops were not configured properly and have the thunderbolt driver installed. Those that did, worked immediately and very well. Zero issues over the years. (edited)

Anyone know if this goes well with 2 monitors connecting with a MacBook Pro pls

As others are suggesting. But it off ebay or other second hand shop.

People are getting rid of their WFH kit.

Be careful if this is the V3 model. Truly terrible. I work on a large estate of laptops and we had to pull purchasing theses due to a large number being faulty, laptop and/or 2nd display flashing and losing connection all the time large number just completely failing. Still in discussions about what brand to use now but it won't be Lenovo. Shame cause their laptops are pretty good 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Firmware update and you're fine.

U can pick these up FB marketplace for less than 100
Even cheaper on eBay. Generally ex business stock. Mine was brand new and was only something like £35.

I am running a dual monitor setup with one 1440p ultrawide monitor and one 1080p ultrawide monitor. Currently I run the 1440p through the hdmi port and the 1080p through the USB-C. Will I be able to connect both monitors to this and connect using just the USB-C cable?
Why can’t you run both on hdmi ?

If anyone gets one of these , update the firmware in the dock and get a good usb C lead to connect it to your pc/laptop , I had random screen disconnects, until I got a proper lead and updated the firmware
