Cheapest DDR4 ram I've seen recently. It is free to click and collect or over £50. If not it is £2.95

I've already got these in my desktop at home on my current set-up and it works well.

Silly question..... are these Lenovo specific?

No i put mine in a B350M motherboard for custom build
would these work okay with ryzen 5 1600 or 2600? have heard faster ram much better for ryzen systems
That's my plan, how many did you get? at this price, any idea on the part number or full spec. why so cheap?

No not tried OC'ing them yet
I'm going for GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming 3, 2 x 4gb should be fine, but........

You can usually Google the part numbers on the ram and find someone else that has overclocked them
It's a good price but everything I've read says the Ryzen 5's prefer faster RAM 3000+ to get the best performance.

Sorry I should add I mean on the actual chips themselves, not the sticker or anything else.
Went for in the end 2x4 gb
Great for an office rig or similar, and great price compared to market standard. I would say for Ryzen you definitely want faster as will benefit immensely, especially for 2200 or 2400 chips which use for graphics as well as system. Good ram timings also benefit performance, so just beware

ordered, now just need a new case to finish off the job, any recommendations about £50.
Could I use this along with a stick of crucial ddr4?

Yes, as long as the Crucial is also Non-ECC, unbuffered & 288-pin like this one, it'll be fine.

If in doubt, let us know the part number of the Crucial module.

Also, may be worth noting that if they are different speeds, all the RAM will run at the speed of the lowest-speed module.
very tempted by this, however I've got a feeling you probably wouldn't be able to clock this past 2666, which puts a spanner in the works for a Ryzen build. hmmm.
Don't know if these will work with lenovo ideapad 310...

I don't think there are doubts whether it'll work or not, but as the guys are saying, better to get faster spec for optimal performance.

If you don't want to pay too much, don't mind secondhand & you're an eBay member buy it from there.

Check your PMs for a related eBay search (starts at £20 delivered for a 4Gb module).

No worries, I didn't mean you should have searched. I just meant, as far as I could tell from a quick search, it appeared to be a laptop.
Would anyone with more knowledge be able to tell me if this will work on an imac? I have two memory slots and only one is being used. Apologies if this is a stupid question.

lmgtfy.com/?q=…ory

Over the past 10 years there have been in excess of two dozen models all sharing the 'imac' moniker.
You should be more specific.

Though as it turns out, according to that webpage, the answer is no.
There's only one model of imac that has ddr4, and it uses 260-pin SO-DIMMs (laptop memory), not 288-pin DIMMs (desktop/server memory)

Thanks for the reply. I have a mid 2011 model 27 inch which takes 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM but until you replied I had no idea that different imacs take different memory.

I am not a technophobe But I do find buying memory confusing. I think sometimes its hard to step outside your own knowledge and understand why someone might find certain items hard to buy even when well versed with google.
cheer, hot for me and a nice little memory upgrade .... bought
I have two memory slots on my desktop motherboard, one slot has 8GB of DDR4-2400, the second slot is vacant. Would this be compatible, or do you have to 'match' memory sizes as well as type/speed?
My order has been cancelled
Cancelled order
Cancelled but of course money has left my account!
Cheap, sure, but a misprice?!
Pretty weak excuse from them.

Ordinary I wouldn't grumble, but when you're building a pc and have sourced motherboard, ram and CPU, having one of them fall through is genuinely inconvenient.

I don't buy it personally either as I managed to bag some a month ago for £1 more and they honored it!!
