Price now £84.99...Argos are playing around with prices!!!

Lenovo A10 10.1" Tablet. Refurbished by Manufacturer with 12 mths warranty.

Currently selling for £129.99 at Argos
argos.co.uk/sta…htm

Listing states Jelly Bean so may well come with that installed however a KitKat update 4.4.2 was rolled out OTA to this model earlier this year so if not already running KitKat it can do.

Similar spec and performance to the £90 Asus Transformer (i was torn between the two) but the Lenovo has twice the storage and supposedly better speakers and battery life. Even though this is a refurb i think it's a better deal than the Asus Transformer.

Even though it's a refurb you still get the same 12mth warranty you would get buying a new Asus Transformer...what's not to like!

Hi, I saw this earlier and thought it was a good deal too. How much does it cost to return things back to Argos if it goes faulty though.

I bought a 7" Acer tablet from them about a year a go that developed a fault. Return was free, I just took it to my local collect+ point (my local coop)

Ive returned a camera before and the postage costs was refunded to me straight away with the cost of camera. They only refund and don't send out another, you have to go through the buying process again.

Oooh I'm up for this I think -

Returns to Argos eBay are free, & in my experience dead easy. We bought a mini hifi from them last year. It developed a fault after 3 months, they accepted return & refunded with no problems at all.
later edit to add - Rats, just checked specs & found no HDMI output. I promised myself that I wouldn't replace my current acer A210 unless I got that & quicker performance.

I have this tablet and have been very impressed with the performance it has 16gb of storage and micro sd expansion worth this price might buy a second

A steal at this price. I paid double this for a new one from Argos few months ago. Not a premium tablet but build quality is fine, a few home screen quirks regarding folders etc but really recommend this. Like previous poster I'd also be tempted to get another at this price.

Got one of these when £99 it's a reasonable tablet but mine had to be returned faulty screen got full refund , I personally would not recommend one but at this price maybe worth a punt .

This tablet has superb battery life!

Bought the A7 recently (7" version, roughly same specs) well pleased.

Good price.

1280×800 is more than full HD, full HD is only 1280×720 (720p), 1080p is near 2k resolution (1920×1080 progressive)

Does this have more USB ports as I need them so i can charge at the same time as playing my N64? Don't want to ruin the plasma.

Hi, that's good that you can take it to a collect+ for free. Is this tablet better or worse than the Asus t103cx at £89?

My daughter sits easily 8-9hrs on games/you tube on one charge. Charging quite quick as well (3hrs).

Just bought second one!!! No brainer for this price (_;)

I don't have the Asus to compare but reviews I've read suggest battery life and Speakers are better on this but CPU better on the Asus. This has 16Gb storage over the Asus 8Gb though...and it's £20 cheaper...sold it for me.

Have a Nook HD+ mostly to read comics.
This one has a worse screen but slightly better.

Would this be an upgrade at all, if all I want to do is read comics/books?

Thanks ordered

If you only want to read comics and book then i wouldn't bother unless there is something fundamentally wrong with your Nook....

Often down to failed OTA software upgrades...sent back to Manufacturer, reflashed, cleaned, repackaged and then sent back to Argos who sell them on as refurbs.

Could I ask people what do you guys use a tablet for, that you can't say..use a laptop for? - or where a laptop is impracticable?

I'd rather pay the asking price for an aspirin tablet than this tablet. the asprin will have better performance too
