This tablet I found while searching Amazon seems a pretty good machine for the price. Its never going to be top of the class, but as a lower-end entry level tab, it has a lot going for it.

ASUS MeMO Pad ME172V 7" 16GB Wi-Fi Black Tablet available at Tesco for £59

The ASUS is an older tab, much slower processor etc so while it's cheaper, doesn't necessarily make it better. I think the ASUS is a good tab, in fact a very good tab for the price, and I think that it would be great for the kids. However, this Lenovo tab is a step up in my opinion, and would use this for myself.

Same price as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.0 7" from Amazon and Tesco.

Great price but screen may let it down. Not HD.

Good point Donna, but the Samsung has a dual core processor compared to a quad core on the Lenovo, and I understand it has a load of bloatware on there. As I am very limited technology wise, I would struggle to remove all the rubbish they put on. Also 16gb storage on this compared to 8gb on the Samsung. It's a nice tab the Samsung, but there are more plus points for me with the Lenovo.

Good thing about this tablet is it has otg functionality as well as micro SD. My Asus memo HD unfortunately doesn't support otg as far as I know.

Surely not as good as a 1st gen Nexus 7 or GT3 for the same price?

Good price. Have some heat OP

GT3 is a rubbish tab but great if you want a white tablet. I got a Nexus 7 for £93 from Very yesterday with my £30 discount code. It just depends what you want. Worried Nexus is a bit heavy!

I think this has 3G..

Nope, this is non 3G

I know Very is not good, but they have a 3g version for £129

HDMI?

Pretty sure this is Android .
4.something anyway.

Is this a decent tablet for the price?? Looking for a good all round 3g tablet, i don't mind buying from very. £129 sounds like a good price! But it is worth it?

HDMI?

Ye i does this have HDMI? Would be great if it did!

I've bought off Very before (a few times) never had a problem

Very tempted by this, but reviews seem to be very thin on the ground!?
