Any reviews of this AND "Dealextreme" ?

The phone runs on the Android operating system, which is the most widely used mobile platform on Earth. It runs on Android 4.4, which is named KitKat, and it's the newest version of Android available. It was first released on mobile phones in September, 2013.

With 4G LTE support, it supports the fastest connectivity band currently available on smartphones.

Yes, all that is obvious, but what I was asking anyone had experience with this phone, AND the company

Original Poster

lenovo is a massive company don`t worry X)

Lots of people have good experiences with DealExtreme.

Ive had plenty of items from Deal extreme over the years; never had an issue at all, but be advised..... you may need to wait for that slow boat from china-- up to four weeks delivery sometimes.
Solid company though- go for it!

Pre-order. Looks interesting though

Looks good for the price.

Wives Xperia M2 1800 benchmark (and odds)
My LG G2 37735
Moto G that everyone seems to love cira 1800 also. Which is just slightly higher than a Nexus 4.
Great benchmark on this phone for the excellent price.

Please be careful about the bands on this - IIRC UK uses 800/1800/2600 for LTE - this only has one of those three - no use for o2 customers for 4G for a start - if 4G is important, do some research.

Wrong - the bands it supports are not the fastest - LTE is the technology, not the band.

does that one has 4G/LTE?

You know as much as me. We're both looking at the only source of info on subject

Handy guide below for anyone. Or to put it another way if you are expecting 4G on this phone in the UK you have to be with EE or Three.

I'd be wary too that your DX Lenovo may be very Chinese indeed. Personally I'd check Etotalk with their ROM/unlocked/rooted and delivered by DHL within literally a few days rather than weeks/months, albeit for c10% more [I got my Lenovo A820 from them a year back]. But as others have said I'd be wary of which 4G LTE Bands it actually supports.

Google "Lenovo Golden Warrior" its more commonly used name for lots of specs, blurb etc.

Will this phone work on 3?

Appears stock Rom is Chinese/English language but guessing it'll be defaulted to Chinese but probably get to choose when setting up. Have taken the punt anyhow through MeriMobiles, it's for the missus so I don't really care lol!

Seems to be different a few "Golden Warrior" phones though

Yeah though link here shows it the same phone just that the Golden Part seems to refer to the colour. Google seems to suggest (can't be bothered trawling through my endless google hunt for details again) that look for the MTK6592 part as this refers to the chipset then look for the model that states 4G LTE (seems to be some non-4g LTE models)

The MT6592 is the SoC. It only has a 3g modem built in. Mediatek don't have native 4g in an SoC (until MT6595 later in the year). For 4g it has a daughter chip the MT6290.

Only b/g WiFi ? Man that is got to be a nono with ac on the use nowadays. Apart from that seems pretty good spec for the money.

Don't forget the £27.23 VAT [url=http://www.dutycalculator.com/url]

Nice phone but only single SIM which for some kind of defeats the object of buying a china phone.

Is the native Tom on this any good?

I had to move on from my Lenovo A820 because the nodded roms were no good

Just so people know,

This phone will work on Three and EE's 4G network.

It will not work on O2, Vodafone, Lyca, Tesco and Giff Gaff's 4G network.

It will work on all UK networks for 2G/3G.

what a phone lovely seeing Kitkat on Octa core phones

getting slightly peeved that as an 02 customer you get pegged out of 4g options on all these interesting phones!!!

Even cheaper here (about £99 delivered)

I have an A820 and use the Lambda ROM which is the most popular and it works perfectly.

Although the rest of that spec looks very good, no 4G unless I'm missing something?

I made the switch from o2/Giffgaff and haven't looked back. I understand your pain if your on a lengthy contract though

Yes it cheap but you will only have calls and texts (GSM) in the UK. That model is for the 'China Mobile' network. No 3g or 4g in the UK.

Extremely tempted by the merimobile one, but does anyone know if Lenovo are one of the Chinese makers who often are guilty of adding malware to their phones?

Oh god it has a removable battery as well. I'd happily switch to Three to use this.

Think you've fallen into the varying models/specs issue there. That says it's "4G: TD-LTE Band38/39/40"
As I understand it for UK usage you need the version with FDD-LTE not TD and even then as others have raised it seems the limited range of FDD bands offered will prevent use on several UK 4G networks.
