I noticed the lack of wireless N as well (plus the lack of HDMI, but that isnt needed here).

As for the resolution, the User is in his mid 60's, so extremely tiny icons would be much use

But thanks for the comments - Is there an alternative you could recommend at that price?
Alas not one of the vaunted Thinkpad models but still a Lenovo, which counts for a lot. Might be worth it at £427 but Dell and ASUS both have models with the same CPU and very similar spec at £399. I suspect the ASUS deal has the better screen (component quality as opposed to better resolution) but both ASUS and Dell are right up there at the top of the reliability pile.
