Good battery life due to smaller screen and processor but for a truly portable device (rather than a laptop permanently plugged into the power supply) this makes sense for everyday tasks.

code is?

Chromebooks are excellent pieces of kit, some say "whats the point", you can most things, yes but you have to be on the net.

90 percent of the stuff on a smartphone, attaches to the Net.

Code is BOXINGLENOVO

Chrome books no longer have to be on the net to use. 90% of the stiff can now be completed offline (like a laptop) and it will sync when a connection is made.

Got the missus one for christmas and this has a higher quality feel to it than most chromebooks and the 4Gb of ram, rather than the 2 Gb most have, will be much more important than a slightly more powerful processor given google's plans for these going forward, ie Android apps etc, and the touch screen will really come into it's own.

Ignore the Amazon price as a comparison, that's a marketplace seller chancing their arm, Amazon themselves were last selling it for £200. It's £179 in Argos but came with £30 in vouchers before christmas.

argos £179.99 in store if lenovo n20.

Heat added, good deal, thanks

Just bought one, thanks for the post!!!

Didn't really fancy the HP in white or the Acer's that seem to be everywhere. Last time I had an Acer the screen failed!!

More memory - yes, faster cpu - not so much.
The n2830 is significantly weaker than the 2955u that many chromebooks use.

Indeed but my point is, for a Chromebook, amount of RAM is more important than processor speed for a good user experience and will become even more so over the year to come. Most newer Intel Chromebooks are fitted with the slower Bay Trails as it gives better battery life and allows fanless cooling

Most reviews on the net are of the US version which for some reason only has 2Gb.
