Similar to this deal from John Lewis but two main differences are 128SSD and 1 year manufacturer warranty.

2x usb 3.0 and ssd makes this a better deal for me

Shame you can't pay £20-30 more for a 250GB SSD model but it's good to see them finally appearing as standard in cheaper laptops.

Was just about to buy the John Lewis one, honestly not really tech minded, what's the better option for day to day use such as browsing, e mails, office etc. many thanks..

But you miss the point, Benjamin posts only when the resolution is not mentioned in the op...

The one with the SSD - assuming you can live with this amount of storage. Unless it's a major improvement in another area (screen quality/brightness, keyboard quality etc.) then there's no comparison.

this one should boot up faster like under 30sec ready to go. Generally faster operation in most cases over the HDD. Storage could be an issue after a year of use and not deleting movies watched.

Stop being @n@l i said it as a joke, anytime there is a laptop deal he is the first to comment about the screen resolution so i think you have missed the joke.

On windows 10 a hard drive will do under 30 seconds (I think mine is about 25s) but an SSD should still be faster.

He doesn't post every time there is a laptop deal, he posts every time there is a laptop deal not listing the resolution in op specs.

It is obvious you were trying to make a "joke" but the problem is more in the fact you failed miserably. As evidenced in a number of likes you received... compared to his...

You sound like a right barrel of laughs on a night out that's if you go out or have any friends, @nal and petty people tend to be loners.

You need not worry your small brain about my social life, I am quite happy with it. I really hate people who fail to understand some simple facts and then get annoyed and call people petty when they point it out to them... If you lack in intelligence at least have enough sense not to show it as much...

I hate people who are @nal and petty which you clearly are. What simple facts are you talking about? That Benjammin316 states the screen resolution on laptop deals and i said what i said in jest. Other people have noticed this and started to do the same

Go on these two deal and type in your @nal and petty comments. Why make such a big deal about an ongoing joke about HD screen resolution. If anyone is lacking in intelligence it's you coming out with this naive and childish nonsense.

Has anyone here bought this? if so can you tell me if it has 1 x 4gb stick, or 2 x 2gb?
I've just ordered it and want to bring it up to 8gb.
Cheers
