Absolutely stunning find on this! I posted for £199.99 not long ago and that was great at the time.
Just wanted to add a few bits from that, that might help

What do I need?
If you want to check if your PC is capable of running MR, you can check using the Microsoft PC Check - Here

You should have the Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update installed already, but if not, just get that updated.

For the motion controllers to work, you will want a Bluetooth 4.0 connection / Dongle - You can pick them up for a few quid if you've not got one already

With co-op you get it for £109.99. It should work for everyone else, go to this passcode page lenovo.com/gb/…per then enter the code "EXCLUSIVELW!" and you should be able to get it for £109!
For anyone who themselves, friends or family work for Lloyds Banking group (even ex employees), they have Lenovo on the colleague offers site. If you buy through the link you can get this for £109.99 delivered and 10% back in Wow points. So effectively less than £100, it was rude not to.... I hate/love this site
Sniff, bought it for £199 in a flash deal as an xmas present, haven't opened it yet

anyone know if you can beg them to refund the difference? bought 26th October

I have spoken to Lenovo customer service today and they have said it’s due to dispatched 30th November so hopefully will do

This is a great point of entry for anyone new to VR. Windows MR offers the easiest setup with least clutter.

The Lenovo is regarded as one of the better windows MR offerings with a decent FOV and very light so good for comfort.

Oculus dropped the ball with their offer being no better than previous years, making this one at £150 even more attractive.
Finally getting US prices, cheap way in to PC VR, hot

I love this website. Did not manage to get one at £199 as my old graphics card was not up to scratch and the deal was then over. One hotdeal for a vega56 later and the deal for this is back only £50 cheaper. Merry Xmas me.

Any of the ones worth worrying about. Admittedly I haven’t used my MR for a while but I don’t recall any issues.

It’s supported officially by steam VR and is constantly being patched.

Should all work but you may have controller issues if the game controls haven't been optimised for mixed reality.

I actualy returned mine the other day, the process is quite easy and they paid for the collection, so you always have that option
Damit, I paid 199 for this about 3 weeks back !.

I honestly can't recommend WinMR. The Lenovo headset I had was great, the problem is the software. It can't run steam games natively, you need to run through the Windows VR, which then runs steam VR, which then runs the game. It's a massive drain on your computer. I has a gtx 1080 and some games were still jerky so it's not my PC. Maybe I just got unlucky but it was such a mess, some games worked some didn't, some controls worked properly some didn't. I ended up selling and sticking with my PSVR, which isn't as graphically impressive and doesn't have good controllers but every game works perfectly.
For £150 I’ll take the chance, since the Rift isn’t going further than last year.
Anyone know if this comes with any games or software please ?

Honestly can’t say I’ve had performance issues. Running a 1080 and 8700k.

I’ve tried all the major headsets and honestly the MR performed comparably in steam vr to both the rift and the Vive.

Simply best bang for your buck, it’s not even close. You will get a pretty close experience to rift/vive aside from worse tracking in a few specific scenarios.

I’m mostly looking to use tiltbrush, quill and other creative stuff where I’ll be looking at the controllers anyway, so I don’t know how much that’ll affect me

I must have just had a bad set then. I kept everything updated and it was just hard work. Shooty Fruity in particular was unplayable, yet it runs on the psvr so I know it's not a resource intensive game. As I say if it works for you the Lenovo is a great set, it's just I had a bad experience I guess.

In an ideal world, the Dell Visor would be this price (or close to it) but the closest I could find was £250 on amazon 3rd party.
For £100 less, I'm excited to dive into VR with the Lenovo. Great deal!

Some of the reviews I read suggested the Acer felt a little cheaper, but having not tried either out not 100% sure so take with a pinch of salt.

Acer is the cheapest in the line and has a lot of mixed reviews and the fov is smaller.

Same here, i have a GTX1080 which i moved up to from a 970 that i was using for VR, and with the WMR headset it was has been nothing but fantastic, hell the WMR runs steam games 100 times better than my rift has ever did because all i ever got with the rift and steam games were massive performance issues, case in point, Drit rally and Euro truck sim 2, on the rift they had massive performance issues that made them unplayable, and i had to disable AWS and lock at 45fps every single time, but on the WMR headsets 90 fps no problem, same with DR......but the rift has no issues on its own store bought games.

So yeah i am a big fan of these WMR headsets, and of course another fearture is that you are not locked into one area like the rift, i can actually go sit in my recliner with the WMR headset and enjoy ED, ETS2 or Dirt rally in total comfort, i cannot do that with the riftas it is outside the locked sensor placement.

But yeah what a cracking deal to get into VR, well worth the price if you have a GTX 1050, GTX970 or upwards.

I've been reading these comments trying to find a reason to buy this. I've got a rtx 2080 coming next week so performance shouldnt be an issue, euro truck simulator has tipped me over the edge. I've never tried VR but Euro truck in VR with my steering wheel should be very fun.

Thanks for sharing your experience...I'm interested to know how the play compares on the GTX 970 Vs the 1080, is there a massive difference in framerates /stutter?
Dont know if I just got a bad one but I sold mine again within a month of buying it. Works well with Steam games by the way but the image was only sharp right in the centre of the lens so if I moved my eyes rather than my head everything was fuzzy. Made watching film on a big screen horrible because only the part of the screen you were looking directly at was in focus.
Might be worth a punt at this price though. If you don't like it CEX are giving 140 (ish) on a voucher for one of these
The issue of focus in the middle would normally be the games coding to ensure best visuals directly in front of you. If it was on films as well I would guess an issue with your pupillary distance, it should affect the whole visuals but I would imagine it would be more noticeable on the edges of view. I am not sure if you can adjust for that on this headset.

The sweet spot is pretty iffy for most VR headsets and it really varies per user. Also this headset has a fixed Hardware IPD which compounds the issue.

I’ve owned many headsets and all have their quirks and kinks, ultimately your experience will be slightly different to the next mans.

For £150 though this is a steal and I’d personally live with a couple niggles and ave £200+
Steer clear of this!

Bought this when it was posted a while back for £199 (appreciate the post though). Took a day and a half to install the Mixed Reality software and then when I actually tried it out it was completely blurry and out-of-focus. You can change the IPD in Windows but you CAN'T CHANGE THE LENS POSITION which is completely ridiculous.

I don't wear glasses and have 20/20 vision and an average IPD (at least according to the optician) and the image was terrible.

As for customer service - complete joke. I ended up having to use another email just to get a response.

Well here is the thing, the rift worked fine with the GTX970, you had to drop some settings but overal the card ran great in VR of Oculus game slike Robot Recall, and if i had bought the WMR headset first i would still be sitting with the GTX970 because the WMR headset just has not given me one performence issue in any game, whereas the Rift was a pain for anything outside a Oculus store bought game, and even on the GTX1080 the rift still has performence issues with ETS2 and DR, so i am 100% sure that the Rift software that sits between rift and steam vr is the issue because none of those issues appear with the same games when using the WMR headset, and that is pushing higher res screens.

But yeah, GTX970 will be great with a WMR headset, a GTX1080 will be even better, it's really a win win alroubnd no matter what you have.

That is a shame, i have the Dell visor and it to has IPD done via software a justments, but i never had any issue with it, and are you on W10 because a day and half to install the WMR software is just terrible, what could have caused it, i plugged mine in and 10 mins after i set up my space with the headset i was gaming in vr, but a day and a half , something went very wrong there completley, but that is a bummer indeed.
