How does the Lenovo HX06 Smart Band Compare to the Xiaomi Mi Band 2?

Bluetooth - Lenovo Yes 4.2 / Mi Band Yes 4.0
Measure distance - Lenovo Yes / Mi Band Yes
Active Mins - Lenovo Yes / Mi Band No
Heart Rate - Lenovo No / Mi Band Yes
Hours Slept - Lenovo Yes / Mi Band Yes
Accelerometer - Lenovo Yes / Mi Band Yes
Pedeomter - Lenovo Yes / Mi Band Yes
Find my Phone - Lenovo Yes / Mi Band No
Display - Lenovo OLED / Mi Band OLED
Battery life - Lenovo Up to 5 Days / Mi Band Up to 20 Days
OS - Lenovo Android / Mi Band Android
Incoming Call Feature - Lenovo Yes / Mi Band Yes

The Lenovo has very good features which better the Mi Band 2 in some ways like Find my Phone, both have Bluetooth but the Lenovo has 4.2 Bluetooth and both have a sharp OLD Display.

I think the only let down with the Lenovo is the 5 day battery life, compared to the Mi Band 2 20 day battery life but if that isn't an issue for you, most charge daily anyway, then it well worth a purchase.

I’m waiting for the one with built in defibrillator.
None of these trackers are any good, all are a waste of money and the apps are poor. Fitbit being one of the worst. Just get out and exercise, you don't need to track the highly inaccurate results and also your friends can mind their own business.

How does this compare to the Xiaomi Mi Band 2?
Do you need the app or can it be used independently. Thinking of getting one for my dad who doesn't have a smartphone.

How does this compare to the Xiaomi Mi Band 2?

I cannot answer your question but would also like to know how it compares with the Makibes HR3 or the Huawei Band 3 - if anyone happens to know or has an opinion.

There's so many to choose from!

Thanks if anyone can offer guidance.
this looks great for the price

my wife has lost her fitbit but i think this might work as a decent replacement
Does look a nice piece of kit, competitively priced too but I'd have a read of the lenovo healthy app reviews first

I've had a mi band 2 for almost a year now, paid the £2.49 for the app, it's been good, sometimes the updates stop the sleep recording function so i've gone back to a previous version of the app.
But now looking for a reasonably priced colour version, any recommendations please? I'd prefer similar small size as the mi band 2 and for android in terms of app please

I could do with one. Had a smart watch (a Huawei) but over expensive for what it was, sent it back. This'll do fine
Ah Gearbest... 1/3 with them so far!
Battery is ok i guess. Moved to Gear fit 2 and was a pain to charge every alternate day, so went back to Mi Band 2

Change to free shipping.
Wouldn't touch this with a bargepole. Bought the previous version and the app is horrific, hard to use and kills your phone's battery.

Preach sister, PREACH!
Anyone recommend another watch? Buying my first one, heard a lot about this Mi Band 2 but heard some bad reports about the App.

Get a Xiaomi Amazfit MiDong. Much better.

I don't know precisely but the cheap price is questionable...
whats people battery life like
Mine finally arrived
The watch itself is really nice looking and has the potential to replace my Mi Band 2 but the The Lenovo Healthy app is terrible !
It will record steps, heart and all that but I can't get it do anything useful (messages, call alert, etc)!

Is there a substitute app (Notify & Fitness is great for the Mi Band 2) that anyone can recommend?

It's life-changing. Forgive the name and you've got a Mi Band 3 for the 21st century. A colour screen, choice of watch faces and AliPay, whatever that is.

Sit back and let the pounds melt away. I've lost about 35 buying it. Still the same overweight man I was before though.

Bloody well done on those 35 pounds. That's awesome. I, too, am on a fitness journey. I'm just trying to achieve a better baseline of fitness, no real weight loss for me.

Forgive me, I was being juvenile. I gave a hearty chuckle at the name as I said it out loud to the girlfriend. I ended up buying a Goyal Y5 on Gearbest about 30 mins ago with a coupon for £14 all-in including faster shipping and insurance. I did have a look at your watch and it looks great, but I wanted something fairly basic as I recently invested in a Polar H10 (which is incredible while working out mind) so I wanted something passive that I can glance down out.

Keep up the good work.

Does yours record heart rate?
Mine doesn't, and as far as I can see there's no indication on Gearbest that the HX06 does record heart rate

Yeah - it's in the OP description.
I think the terrible app is to blame

It may be in the OP's description but this model does not appear to have a heart rate monitor, as far as I can see anyway.
The description is misleading

Actually, reading the reviews, it would appear you're right
After discovering the watch couldn't do notifications properly, it's sat in a drawer, waiting for me to list it on ebay.
Yep, the OP's description is in accurate. I bought it assuming it had a heart rate monitor but sadly it doesn't. The OP needs to revise the description as this is just a step counter
