If this doesn't auto discount, use code SUPERSAVE

This isn't a bad option for £250. With the Ryzen 3 2200G CPU in there, you'll even be able to get a pretty good gaming experience out of it, especially if you drop the resolution down to 720p.

If you wanted to, you could also pop an SSD in there to give it a bit of a boost?
Overall this looks decent to me

I don't know the performance different between the 2200G and the 2400G which I stuck in my 4k media server, but I can say that mine is superb, plays all my old games in 1080p and runs quiet. Definitely the smartest component choice for what I wanted to do, but obviously modern gamers would need a dedicated beefcake. And definitely stick windows on a cheap SSD - they often crop up here for £20ish and are the most beneficial upgrade you can make.

Seems like a way better deal to me than all the old refurbs that crop on here.

is this just the tower or does it come with a monitor please?

Just the tower with this.
If you're just wanting a basic monitor, Lenovo have this at £50.98 hotukdeals.com/dea…661

You will probably need to check out the items separately though, as the codes don't seem to work together. The total for both would be £300.98

If you try to do both at the same time, it's around £330, so make sure that doesn't happen IF you decide to do that. Save those pennies!

There's a gaming comparison here youtube.com/wat…BVY

Really quite impressed with these cheaper Ryzen chips. They make PC gaming that bit more accessible at decent frame rates

I just upgraded my trusty old Phenom based system with some almost new parts sourced via Facebook marketplace for £100.

Ryzen 3 1200
ASUS Prime B450-plus
8GB Corsair RAM

Very quiet indeed and plays my games at 1080 with no drama using an MSI GeForce 1050.

The chap only bought the items in the summer but prefers his Xbox!
can anyone recommend a decent alternative to this please? was just about to buy it & looking through monitors to go with it & it went out of stock.
so can anyone recommend a decent tower & monitor for around £350 please or alternatively an all in one setup thanks

I would keep an eye on this deal hourly as they could add more stock later today or this week.

Regarding the monitor, you could get a decent enough monitor from the likes of ebuyer ebay or ao ebay, or currys ebay, for around £90 to £100.

Would this be good for Adobe collection?
Anyone know the Motherboard Model/PSU in terms of connections/extensions?
It's out of stock unfortunately... Really wanted to purchase one for my son...

My Phenom II X4 955, along with a 1060 6GB and 12GB RAM, are currently blasting through Borderlands 3 on High at 40-60 fps.

Not bad going for a 10 year old processor!

I was still very happy with the Phenom, same model as yours too. The only thing that wasn't so good was the noise of the fan!

Putting in an SSD gave my system a new lease of life, quite possibly one of the best affordable upgrades that I've done!
Yeah do they use standard mobos etc or some fancy lenovo exclusive connections and mobos. Thinking with a view to upgrade maybe?
