Box have this on offer at £489.99 including delivery. It's actaully really nice looking as far a AIO machines go. Plenty of storage there at 2TB and even Radeon 530 2GB, so you'll get some gaming out of it. Higher end games will probably require you to drop the resolution, but still. Quite nice to see it in this model, regardless.

Also has 2x USB 3.0 ports and 3x USB 2.0 ports as well as an HDMI input. All in all I think it's quite a nice option to go with as a family / home office PC. Comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard too.

The next best price is via Box eBay, although outside of the offers from Box, you're looking at about £599.98 outside of that.

You would be better buying seperates if you have the room. The cpu in this is 15 watts, low single thread power (like a laptop) its not really upgradeable, the screen will be VA quality not IPS picture quality, basically these things count on you not caring or having room for much else. You could buy a similar box and better screen for similar money.

I am in the market for an all in one as opposed to a set up that is separate, unless there are cheaper and better deals!
can you add an SSD

Thanks Joe, I have an old laptop and have put Zorin OS on it, but tbh am not really enjoying the experience
For all the negativity about windows, it is a real easy system to use.

That box is like an intel i5 6500 with a gt 1030 graphics card.(but its vega onboard graphics on the cpu)_ i have no doubts its a cheap aftermarket (retail) motherboard (so its upgradeable cpu and gpu wise) it likely has a cheap and nasty power supply, (so does lenovo) but you can change it later if you decide to upgrade it. (But its more than enough for general use and it will handle light gaming).
Ya welcome. I hate o.e.m. rip offs, this lenovo rig is worth ~ 370 in my opinion. likely all laptop parts. board,ram, just a pain in the rump. Oh, no Windows 10 included, that will cost you ~ 20 if you aint got a code but its still reasonable, (you can get slightly cheaper monitors if you wanna balance it). Hmmm. No dvd drive either, put windows on with a u.s.b. ;#{

Ooh, thats cheaper, pick the 120 gb s.s.d. , 8 gb dual channel ram, no windows or wifi comes to £317.
(they do wifi for another £8 but guessing its a crappy tenga card)
You can put a dvd drive in that case.
W10 as mentioned is about £20 if you are a bit cunning.(ooh, £10 on amazon e.u. languages only) thats

£327. Add this Benq 23" i.p.s. monitor ebuyer.com/845…80e

£422 total. And it would hammer the lenohope one piece in every task.

Added heat because it’s great as an office computer at that price. HOWEVER, be under no illusion, this is not going to give a great gaming experience on post 2006 games, even at a low resolution, so in saying that, and noting that it’s not really for gaming, you can get all in ones for office purposes that are a lot cheaper...
Thanks ordered for the office. The most cpu intensive task it will do is Sage. Nice and clean with not many wires going all over the place.
Don't game so great deal 🙋
Will this play minecraft well as I need a pc just for that for my daughter

The one I listed further up is a much better option for anything involving kids.
Its a lot faster, better quality monitor and cheaper. Well, its about the same price if you get them to put windows on it. 70 cheaper if you do that yourself.
Edited by: "joe_shmoe" 14th Dec 2018
Prebuilts today can game! When I was a kid you got a brand new PC from your parents, it straight away couldn't play anything and you never touched it again lol. Oh and it was impossible to het sound to work with games, it just never frigging worked unless you had a sound blaster thing, thank fook they standardised it on the mobo.
THAT prebuilt will not game much unfortunately, not unless very old/esports games at lowish settings. The Gpu cores are not vega tech, its the older stuff from phenom era. half way between intel igp and the gt1030. Its a laptop standing up. Its o.k. for basic uses and thats it. office,surfing,media. Its not upgradeable, it just is. When that VA screen snuffs it its a bin job.
Probs play HL2 and bioshock retro stuff ok tho. ;#}

Thats correct. Its a box assembled from retail parts (likely bought in bulk) by CCL and a Benq monitor pick

That's actually a great price. Nice find.

Thats a 'usual' sort of CCL price. Imagine you have a large budget for parts and can buy 20 motherboards at a time?
20 cpu's, 20 hard drives.. now suppliers wanna talk when they got too much stock? And bancruptcy auctions are nice. (I know a supplier who has paid £6 for whole machines at auction, 10 at a time)
Then you realise windows is a b/s rip off on most sites (they charge 100 despite getting it for much less)
Suddenly your competitive. Dont get me wrong, you can be sure this is a low level board,probably gigabyte A320 chipset,
(retail) but thats better quality than anything in a dell.
And if you upgrade to an 'X' cpu (2600x for e.g) a locked board matters nothing, the chips are maxed out clocks wise anyway.(and you get a good cooler ;#} )
The power supply could be anything, might be a comes with a case job,might be cit 400 or aerocool 600 (common in pre builts)
But this machine has a future? Its upgradeable.
You want to see how far we've come thanks to A.M.D.'s efforts? This chip is near an i7 4770 (not 'k') and gt 1030 graphics power. Those 2 items retailed ~ £350 and you can buy this whole pc for that. I'm aware this chip goes another 7% if you can clock it (closer to that i7) but for this price who gives a hoot? You could sensibly drop a vega 56 or gtx 1070 on this chip, its that good.
Now DDR4 R.A.M. should be half the price .. when its a fiver a gig I'm building an 8 core r5 3600x rig.(yes,its coming)
;#}

Buying prebuilts like the lenovo AIO unit posted here is paying for and encouraging MEDIOCRITY.
I will never participate in that and anybody who knows me personally would consult me before making such a mistake.

Take a look at this one at Compadvance compadvance.co.uk/hp-…9nf.They have others but this includes an SSD so should be fast and last a good few years.

Agreed although I can't see how these really save much if any room. The other problem is when they go wrong you lose everything. That being said they do look nice.

The processor in that is JUNK. Not kidding;
cpubenchmark.net/cpu…143
Thats £250 laptop type performance. Two threads, not 4. I cant find any upgrade info on it either.
If he doesnt game this would be better;
I would buy one of these and put a 500gb hard drive in as bulk storage ( available from C.E.X. for £8).
Yes, its messing about a bit but its a better machine.

That one i listed has a s.s.d. with W10 but no Hdd installed for storage.(C.E.X. will sell you a used warranted 500 gb drive for £8). 4 gb of ram is fine for surfing. (and if ya lucky its all on one stick so you can increase it easy)Dude, the problem you got is you need a reasonable chip, ram, s.s.d., hard drive, ? a new 1000 gb hard drive is ~£40. DDR4 ram is £9 / gb. a 120 gb s.s.d. is £25. a reasonable cpu is £75 new. then you got the case, mobo, power supply, windows, and they post it for free.
You cant do it with 300 unless you build it yourself using a mix of new and used. (i can give you a list) but shopping for a refurb or basement price pc with a S.S.D. in it before crimbo with that budget,you wont find better than what I posted..
The HP one's cpu is really poor, honestly its worse than a cheap laptop. Feel free to pm me anything you see.
