The tower version of the other deal I posted, including DVDRW for those who get salty about it ...

Use the code CHEAT10 to get the 10% discount required for the price.

By no means perfect, and I'm generally an advocate of custom-builds through and through, but an i5 build with a GTX1070 for £692 is currently about as good as you can get, given the cheapest GTX1070 I can find is £515

  • Intel Core i5 6400 Processor
  • GeForce GTX 1070 Graphics card
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Windows 10 Operating System
  • 1TB Hard Drive
  • DVD-RW Optical Drive
  • 1 year warranty
  • Tower Desktop Form Factor

Agh still no mention of wireless, gutted.

Desktops typically don't include wireless, except on some high end motherboards, which a system builder won't use on a PC priced this low. You can add wireless with a few quid USB dongle that you can hide in the back ports if aesthetics bother you. Wouldn't let inclusion of built in wireless even be a factor when buying a new PC as it is so easy and cheap to add...

Again great price for a PC with a GTX1070. Personally prefer the look of the other one, and it would make a monster living room games machine HTPC. this one looks a bit bland and doesn't seem to add anything to the spec other than a tower case, but either way great value...
I agree ST3123, totally.

I figure these will sell out quick though, so worth posting both.

Might give the option of adding a second GPU for sli in the future though
Any idea on the motherboard?
Would be great to know if the motherboard is SLI compatible (or even if it has 2x 16x slots) - any ideas? Otherwise the smaller one looks a better deal.

download.lenovo.com/con…pdf shows two pcie x16 mechanical slots at least not sure if its just crossfire or sli without spending more than 15 seconds linking this but dont understand peoples obsession with SLI or crossfire ..... basically SLI and crossfire are turd and not worth the effort just buy a better graphics card....

Personally I wish they would put them in cases that would sit nicely in a TV cabinet no flashy lights, but yes the other one looks nicer both are great deals.
20 quid dearer now
How good is this company, was thinking of buying but read some trustpilot reviews especially recent ones I'm not so sure now , anyone had good or bad dealings with them on hukd
Both deals have been at the non discount code price at Debenhams for a while, not sure if any codes kicking around for them...
Is this worth buying? For gaming and for browsing.
Does this, or the other one, have a slot for more RAM or a SSD?

Yup, and put the dongle where it can see the WiFi access point rather than stuffed behind a metal case. We use Asus USB-AC56 on our desks and they're good.

I used to work there. I wouldn't.
None in stock, I would have snapped this up otherwise. Any chance this could handle some sort of VR?

More than 10 available too. Some spent a bunch trying to turn a profit. They're WAAAY overpriced on that post though.
