Very tidy little machine. Not really reduced by £100 though and same price at Currys/PC World. That said it is a hot post even at this price. Its an Atom processor which is what the netbooks used so not gonna set the world on fire by its processing power but for evryday surfing and light programs it will do great. I am tempted to buy one as a second laptop mainly due to the reviews and the fantastic battery life of around 8 to 9 hours!
Lenovo badging is also a great selling point. Really cant knock this item. Well done OP

Very are currenty selling it for £109.99 and £3.99 p&p. That's £113.98 so saves a bit but John Lewis customer service and waranty much more respectable. At such a low price I would pay the £129.95 for the reassurance.

isn't this the laptop that sky are giving away free at the moment with sky TV new customers?

I think it is. Good spot if you're looking at signing up to Sky anyway.

£20 cheaper from Amazon - why would anyone pay £129?!

These run the same processor as not only netbooks, but tablets. To me, with these specs, this is just a glorified tablet with a keyboard that you can't remove. Each to their own.

Why would anyone pay £20 extra?

For an extra years warranty?

everything in EU is covered for 2 years anyway?

EU Law stand above any local laws, companies policies etc - it's up to consumer how far he/she want to carry on fighting about it
