    I recently purchased the 15.6 inch Ideapad 5i with the i5-1135G7 processor, it seems very snappy even with the 8gb SOLDERED ram on the board, bought it to learn a few programming languages, battery is pretty good but the screen is definitely only to be used indoors and not for any high accuracy colour / photoshop editing.

    That being said, I did not expect this to run games to any caliber, but I did test it out on league of legends at Max/Very High settings and it ran at 60fps on battery only which did surprise me, so I'd imagine it can run some triple A games on low at best

    Decent fine ok laptop for office, internet, YouTube, the basics. But these Ideapads have lackluster screens and soft keyboards. Useable but there are better options out there.

    What would you recommend? I’m struggling to get one. Every one I see has some downfalls. I need it for office, Internet, YouTube and basics. But also my kids might want to use for some basic games and I’d like to future proof it s bit so I don’t need to but another in 12 months!

    Keeping in mind the average screen, This will do the job fine for the former, but not gaming. For that, you're better off looking for a Ryzen based laptop.

    Nice laptop. I’m very happy with mine. Got it from Lenovo direct 2 weeks ago in a weekend sale for £349. I think Amazon had it for a little bit more. It does everything I want it to.
