Only a 1366x768 resolution but otherwise I thought this looked like a pretty capable machine for the price?

Shame about the screen. Decent spec otherwise.
Wierd when you see title 3GB SDD & 128GB HDD.

Actually its 128GB SSD.
I think the title on the item is an error. Product information below says 4GB, and I don't know what 3GB SSD might refer to.
4GB RAM in specs?
Some of the 1366x768 panels Lenovo use are horrible cheap TN panels with really bad viewing angles. We have a 330s which is great apart from the screen! From what I have seen their full HD panels are better.
not a great deal. It has the bare minimum of everything and the screen resolution is too bad.
I’m after a laptop for work. Reckon a £300 budget. I see one on HUKD and think that’s ok and then start looking at the comments “spend a bit more on RAM, another £30 to upgrade the HDD etc etc” I get why but if you have a strict budget then the majority I have seen on here have similar specs
I'd recommend this new Acer swift 1. All Aluminium design, Full-HD IPS screen Lenovo is TN, genuine 12hrs battery life, finger print recognition, passive cooling no fans, backlit keyboard and has USB Type C.

Or this Lenovo 520s with a core i3, 8GB Ram, better quality Full-HD IPS screen and backlit keyboard.

The 1366 panel on my old Lenovo (3 years old) is really nice but a 720p panel was becoming too irritating to live with so went to a 1080p, the MSI panel is nowhere near as nice but the extra resolution definitely makes up for it.

That's £100 more so it's obvious going to be better . You can't compare this to a machine that's £100 more
What's the best model for about £300

I only have about £300 to spend. Would you say this one at £349 is the best I can get or it is it worth waiting for something else. It’s for my son homework mainly. Thx

It’s 4gb... Amazon title is not correct. Thanks.
Thanks. I was about to commit! Need an 8GB machine for ballpark £300.
