As the spec is mostly missing:

- Pentium N4200 (2000 benchmark)
- 4GB DDR3 1600 (8GB Max)
- 1TB HDD
- 14" Screen with 1366 x 768 resolution
- No ODD

If you see it as a sort of Chromebook with more storage (albeit slower storage) you will probably get on fine with it. Don't expect it to be anywhere near the level of a £300 laptop, though.

Not necessarily - they're just not really used these days.

But even if you went back in time 10 years, you'd never get that money for it. It is, in all reality, just a laptop for someone to browse the internet on - and not much beyond that (and let's be honest, too many people go out and pay £500 for an i5 and never do much more than browse Facebook, so there's no harm in getting something to suit their budget and use).
Im surprise sometime people complain for 5" mobile phone saying its only full hd,!!!

Because my laptop sits at arms length on a desk and not 6" from my nose. Coupled with the fact this costs £250.
What does it mean by dummy dvd drive?

What does it mean by dummy dvd drive?

Probably that there’s a slot that can take one but it has a blanking plate in there instead. Though I haven’t seen them like this for years and only then on business-class machines
Showing £299 :-(
The link is showing it £299 how to get it for £249
Aren't those Intel 'N' Processor's for thingslike Notebook's?, and/or for for low-powered Device's like Intel Tablet's/Intel Phablet's, etc, etc?.

So what are they doing on fully fledged Laptop's then, or something?.

I don't get it ...
