The Lenovo IdeaPad 320 14IKBN 14" Laptop is part of our Achieve range, which has the latest tech to help you develop your ideas and work at your best. It's great for editing complex documents, business use, editing photos, and anything else you do throughout the day.

HD display

The IdeaPad 320 delivers an HD resolution that displays every colour clearly. With anti-glare technology you'll be able to work, watch movies and update social media without being hindered by sunlight or bright lighting, providing a consistently impressive visual performance in all manner of environments.

Crystal clear sound

Dolby Audio enables the IdeaPad's speakers to deliver detail and clarity at every frequency while eliminating distortion, no matter how loud you crank it up. As well as boosting volume and optimising audio, Dolby provides an automatic volume control that prevents jumps in volume when you switch content.

Lenovo App Explorer

Download only the applications you know you'll use with Lenovo App Explorer. Computing devices can often come with pre-loaded software that takes up valuable disk space and doesn't get opened. Lenovo ingeniously solve this by providing you with a store that lets you cherry-pick the best and most useful programs for you. Every app is screened and tested by Lenovo, ensuring consistent quality.

Microsoft Office & internet security

This PC doesn't come with a full version of Microsoft Office or Internet Security. But don't worry, you'll find great savings on software with the bundles available on the ‘Top Deals' tab on this page.

This is still available for 479.99, newer 8th generation i5, 8 GB RAM, full HD IPS matte screen. I bought it on Tuesday, very happy with it at the moment, only downside is the 128 GB storage but that's easily upgradeable.

Resolution 1366 x 768

but mate price aswell chea
In your description it says full HD, he's just pointing out its not according to the specs
Great reduction in price. Hot. I can't understand that something (that was) on sale for £699 doesn't have a large HDD as well as the SSD. Cloud and external storage can be a real faff.

Currys have the 8GB Ram model at £649, overpriced compared to this.

HOT!

Anyone going for this or the OP deal, don't forget quidco or the trade-in offer at Currys.

What's its battery life like of the Ideapad you bought for 479.99? I'm torn between that one and the Asus which has an allegedly better battery life but far worse screen. The advertised 7hrs battery life on your model doesn't seem very good by the time you factor in how much manufacturers exaggerate.

My brother bought this laptop the battery is shocking. I was installing office and getting rid off the bloatware that manufacturers install. The battery lasted 3 hours! Imagine the drain on heavy usage YouTube etc.

The 479.99 Ideapad? Thanks for the advice. I think I'd prefer a semi-decent battery life over a good screen.

Its hard to assess battery life. Manufacturer's claims are miles off, and they don't give you enough detail in the specs. Its also hard to find reviews of similar models so you can see some benchmarks.

Pretty bad to be honest, I'd say it'd last about 3 hours on normal usage with full brightness and performance, it's not really an issue for me as I mainly use it at home.

Amazed how bright people like their screens, mine's set to 15% when indoors.
The Night Light is also permanently on for a bit of warmth.
Not had any stock near me since I started looking early December!
Note that this is the 7th gen I5 processor and not the latest 8th gen which is a lot better. Also the camera on these laptops is 0.3mb which is absolutely shocking and found in laptops 10 years old!

Thanks for the reply. Good to know. Its still hard to decide because like you I'd mainly use it at home and there are more plugs on trains and planes these days.

Bought this today. Very happy as well although I was looking to pay abit less. I did like the yoga although the store I went to was not an ips screen and looked misty compared to the ideapad. Thanks Golyadkin for the find

Yeh the 479 one. I agree I'd take battery life over screen too.
