Seems like a reasonable price for a decent lower end specification

Price reduced again from £399.99 to £379.95

Not forgetting the 3 year guarantee

They had the 320S at that price a few months ago.

Did the same haha

I have been researching and looking for a laptop for my primary aged daughter for a couple of weeks. It's for web surfing, school work (Word etc.) and she will probably want to do some basic editing of her phone videos for Youtube.

I have a Macbook and she struggles to transfer between this and the school Windows machines.

I could do with keeping sub £400 as originally I thought I was budgeting about £250. Haha.

From what I've been reading an 8gb, i3 (not too old a gen') would be preferable. I see this also has SSD.

She has an XBox for gaming so don't need to that on the laptop, although she may want to play Sims when she's old enough.

Is this 'THE ONE'?

The only thing that anyone has commented on negatively here is the screen. Is that going to be a major problem?

Advice welcome please.

I've just bought one for our son for the same use, he's recently started Uni... it should be reasonable quick and for his needs ideal. The 3 year guarantee is a nice bonus too

I’ve bitten. Saved a few quid going through Zeek. Might return it if anything better shows up this week.

I disagree, that second one especially has a 1.1ghz processor. Would be too slow.

Ghz isn't a measurement of performance.

Then why is it the measure they use?
