Doesn't appear to as good a deal as they would have you believe. Isn't this the same one but without an ssd on board?
amazon.co.uk/dp/…1P3
£183.41 on Amazon plus around £20 for an ssd still makes it £30 overpriced.
I may be wrong, please feel free to correct me as I am not knowledgeable on pc specs but it looked the same to me.

On the 330S it's not an easy upgrade though
Is it waterproof to be used on a rainy day ? :-)

That one also has an SSD, literally the only difference between them is the one from Amazon runs proper Windows 10 Home and the AO one runs S mode. So you're paying £46 more for a cut down version of the operating system. Your link is therefore a good deal, and this one is bad.

Otherwise, aside from the screen resolution and low battery life, there's nothing wrong with the configuration. I have the same processor/RAM/SSD in my Yoga on full Windows 10 and it absolutely flies for normal tasks - web browsing, watching cat videos, Office etc.

Where does it state the ssd memory capacity? Thinking this would be ideal for parents who want a Windows laptop, tried to convince them to consider CB but not keen on the scary cloud based storage

It's a 128GB SSD, of which about 95GB will be free if I recall correctly. The full specs are here: psref.lenovo.com/Det…4UK

Same 30Wh battery in both, AO claim 6 hours. Truth will probably be somewhere in the middle.

No probs. If you do decide to buy and set this up for your folks, I strongly recommend you run the 'Fresh start' process straight away which will remove any pre-installed rubbish you don't need and free up storage space.

I’d have to google how to but thanks for the tip! What threw me when looking at the Amazon link above it stated hard drive storage as zero? So I assumed you’d have to install an ssd yourself.
Tn screen and 4Gb Ram soldered I now its fairly cheap but can we get back to the future pls

Yeah the description on Amazon is a bit poor. Technically it's correct I guess, because it doesn't have a hard disk drive. It clearly states the exact model number though, which confirms it's got a solid state drive (SSD) instead. Fresh start can be found in the 'Device performance and health' menu. It's not necessary, just good practice with a new Windows computer IMO.

It's not a particularly good deal at £229, but at £183 it's decent.

Why do you wish you could post a sigh emoji? You didn't state that you are required to purchase via a credit account in your last post you just said it was £46 more!

I've mentioned it 3 times in the last 48 hours, plus the deal is already posted.
A simple search Lenovo would show you the deal and how it can be gotten for £46 more.
Tell you what I'll cut your grass and wash your windows for you if you want.

Sorry, I must make sure I read every commenters deals and posts from the past 48 hours before I reply to someone from now on.

IIRC you can convert from Windows 10 S to Windows 10 Home at any time. You're not locked in.

It's not my deal firstly.
It's not about reading my comments, it's about 2 brain cells working together.
If you saw the £329 deal on Very you should have clicked on it and investigated further.
Before you read the specs or description of the laptop It clearly states '20% cashback'
It is not down to me to hold your hand, I however just made people aware of the deal.

Doesn't changing the hdd to a ssd void the warranty though which then makes this a expensive table mat if it does fail in 1st year as the majority that would buy a laptop at this price wouldn't know a great deal in fixing it if it stopped working. Better off with peace of mind.
It would, but it doesn't have an HDD. According to the Amazon link it doesn't have an ssd or any other storage installed either but apparently it does have an ssd or it wouldnt be able to have an operating system. That makes the Amazon one £183 for exactly the same computer.
