Don't think it has the Nvidia GT940MX discrete graphics in this model.

The spec says Integrated Intel HD graphics, and the blurb says: "Equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 4G optional discrete graphics"
If the model really is 80SR008RUK, it should have the dedicated graphics card.
I have it and it has both
5 hours runtime🤔
6th gen u processor 🤔
It will be good for someone wanting to play Football manager and Civ 6! But I would spend £100 more and get the mx150 laptop.
Is this any good for Gaming low medium and in the future could this fit a graphics card sorry new to laptops, PCs.
BUYER BEWARE

Do NOT buy. I bought a Lenovo 510 last year. It only lasted 13ish months, RIGHT AFTER end of warranty and it flat out broke.

This is coming from someone who works in IT and did the chkdsk, system restores, bios settings, etc. fixes but nope, it all failed.

And of course, company did not give a toss, out of warranty so wanted another £200 for a repair for a £430 item.

**** Lenovo.

thanks for sharing your experience
I had one of these before and I do not recommend it for gaming as it suffers a lot from thermal throttling. Frame rates take a dip quite frequently while playing games even with titles like DotA 2. The included hard disk is slow as well so start up time is about 25 seconds. Other than that the keyboard is nice and the dimensions of the laptop are quite compact

This seems to be the norm from most big Corporations these days, I've had the Big Finger from Samsung and Acer in the past with IT kit. I just buy cheapo kit and phones from China these days.

Sounds like the disk died. If you work in IT why didn't you just change the disk?
Decent laptop i do cad and photoshop editing on this not that bad, play a bit a if far cry 4 and world of warships.. A bit slow to start due to the hdd.. In hindsight might hv paid a bit more and got decent ssd aswell with package

I did and sold the sorry excuse for a machine. Nothing in my OP stated otherwise.
Main problems with this (imo):
1. Lenovo. Worst laptops ever, no matter what the spec.
2. Ebuyer. I haven't bought from them in >10 years mind, when they insisted I sent them a scan of my passport for id, even though I'd been buying off them for years. Erm...no. I'll buy elsewhere thanks.
That processor is soooo old. For the specs, the laptop is overpriced. 33181106-X0VJ7.jpg

Agreed! I think I've seen in benchmarks the mx150 performing about 40% better than the 940.
Its good for the price. Other laptops costing 20/30% more are irrelevant. If you have a £600+ laptop you rate why not add it as a deal, rather than flaming this deal

Low medium gaming yes. I would say more low end with reduced resolution. Not future proofed though IMO, what is nowadays unless you pay for it? And no, I believe this graphics card is SoC (Soldered on chip) so it can't be upgraded. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong through

So... the hard drive failed? That's not exactly a difficult problem to fix.
