I think cashback will be void if the code offered by Lenovo is used on purchase and is not stated on Quidco website
Code works on other models too - just gone for the slightly more expensive Yoga which adds touchscreen and screen rotation albeit probably not as nice build quality - thanks OP

Works with student store as well.
Can anyone advise if this will come with MS Office - presumably not. If so, what’s the best way / place to get that?
Can anyone confirm if its a gloss screen or not?

I would say it's semi gloss.

Get a cheap key off ebay or just use Libre Office, if you just need to type up documents then it's perfect.

Looks matte although the currys model is gloss having seen it in store.

Which 1? Link?

lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/yoga/500-series/Yoga-530-14-AMD/p/88YG5001050

This is the Yoga 530 with the AMD Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5 chips. I’d spend more for the ryzen 5 as it’s a big improvement on the ryzen 3 tbh.
Advantages over the OPs model are touchscreen, 360 swivel screen and it supports the Lenovo pen which you can use to write on the flat screen in tablet mode
Disadvantages are that it is a bit larger and doesn’t look as posh as it isn’t all aluminium like OPs model is. Performance is otherwise the same I think, so it’s mainly aesthetic differences.
You can also get this with Intel chips in too - I wouldn’t go less than the i3 and preferably go with the i5 but that’s more £££. I’d avoid the slower pentium chip.

The difference between AMD ryzen and intel i3 / i5 is that the ryzen is generally thought to be better for gaming (although this will only support light to medium gaming) but is less efficient so has a shorter battery life (which is the main downside of the yoga530 ryzen compared to the intel versions)

Does anyone know if this will have the throttling issue that seems to be mentioned on the 330S model (and possibly others). I'm tempted to buy this but that issue is putting me off.
code invaild?

Out of interest does libreoffice have an equivalent to solver?

Yes it does.

Yes it does.

Very handy, is it still called solver or does it have another name?

I have to use office for work purposes but my fiance could get away with just using libreoffice if it has solver.

Same name.
Missed out on the curry's deal. This code is now unfortunately no longer working either. Need a business laptop thats relatively portable, sturdy but also wont be a total slug. Only really do word processing etc so doesn't need to be the latest and greatest, hence this would have been perfect.
Any other recommendations for similar money would be greatly appreciated
