Is that a good or bad thing?
This looks well worth the extra £50. Much better screen, bigger battery, more cores/threads, more power efficient, better onboard GPU, backlit keyboard. Lose some storage space though. (edited)
ps just google it, looks not (edited)

Have some heat OP!
Computers just don't need replacing every 2 years like they did 15+ years ago.... (edited)
However, it is very cheap for this so if you are planning to use it as a student or for something similar, its a good option in my view.
Hardly a comparison between the two especially when this laptop comes with double as a minimum in storage and RAM. The added perk of potential big cashback and no need to fork out to buy some more parts to upgrade the machine which according to my calculations takes the Ryzen laptop up to near enough £350 using very basic model upgrade parts.
Upgrade parts:
RAM let's say an additional 8GB cheapest I found was approx £21
Upgrade the 2.5" SATA SSD cheapest I founded is the integral 480GB which works out around £26.99
WiFi 6 card works out around £10-£15
Sata cable around £8-£10
Screws £1
Minimum extra cost of £66 with potential extra cost of £73 having kept to these exact specs of parts plus the cost if buying the laptop at £249.99 = £316.98 or £323.98
Or have I made a bad mistake and bought the wrong one??
Terms say cashback % may not include vat (these are generic Quidco terms tbh)
Mu usage isn't as heavy as gaming but not light either. I'll usually have following applications running in parallell:
Outlook
At least 2 Chrome with multiple tabs
Google drive
Adobe
Word
Excel
Amazon Workspace (Remote Desktop application)
Slack ( collaboration tool)
Zoom
Can somebody please point out if this laptop can work smoothly considering my above usage?
Thanks.
I know I've been a Ryzen fanboi for years but that Intel has heat issues ie quick google (up yours intel )
