Nonsense, this is listed as a "Gaming Laptop" yet has an old low end graphics card.
You don't need to spend way more money for a laptop with an SSD and Geforce 1050 - we are talking about £100 which is about 15% more which in the long run is worth it for gaming IMO.
I was pointing this out as I was trying to be helpful and didn't want someone to buy this on the merit that it's a gaming laptop then get 20fps average on PUBG and wish they spend a bit more.
I still gave it hot btw as it's a fast processor and a good price so for other uses its good value - just not gaming as per the title.

Its a well specified general purpose laptop - hard pushed to call it a gaming laptop but it is fine for most purposes and the graphics card is good enough for most things on this laptop - at 1080 setting.

Not sure of benchmarks but I'd assume a 950 4gb could run most games at 1080p at medium settings with 30fps. Should be fine for anyone who's on a budget

Can't see any with an i7, mostly quad core i5s which is perfectly balanced for a 1050.
Although on userbenchmark.com the 7300 comes 134/979 where as the 6700 comes 152/179 so it should be better than this.

950M. Don't think so.
FWIW, I use a Lenovo 'gaming' laptop. The components all make up for a gaming machine but the way Lenovo put their laptops together means the laptops overheat within minutes. It's not really suitable for games.

£900 is actually not a bad price for a 17 inch screen which seems to go for huge premiums nowadays, probably due to the reduced popularity.
Where do you get the cashback? Might be tempted myself.

A slight exaggeration. it will play many games at medium detail at 30fps - not what you would call a gaming laptop though.
