Can our resident computer experts give a verdict whether this is a good deal or just a phony flash sale?!

Take a peek at this review: trustedreviews.com/rev…isk
there is a few other deals in the flash sale but think this is the best looking one.
Can those with better knowledge comment on whether it's worth paying the extra £100 for the i7 version? Thanks in advance
Great CPU. If your budget goes to £600 -> get it.

4% off using LEN4600. Must be a £600 spend so the i7 model? Doesn't work adding the extended warranty unfortunately or additional items
Edited by: "boredmark" 24th Aug 2017
Looks good, light weight etc
i5 is £600 and i7 is £700 direct from Lenovo for a couple of hours today it seems...

Although I'd normally say go for the fastest CPU you can afford I don't think the difference is worth £100 in this case (the memory and SSD help in this case); if you have the cash spend on extended warranty (this is a personal thing really); and don't forget code LEN4600

Really good deal and great laptop, voted hot
Tempted had set myself a budget of £550 max for a laptop but this seems a good deal.

Wanted for general use, media playing and photoshop/InDesign work, with some light gaming (stuff 1/2 years old etc).

Should I pull the trigger?

Good for all those things, except the gaming part. Aim for games from 4-5 years ago.

The Yoga 700 11 (previous model, only difference minor CPU upgrade) was on sale on Amazon for £340 1.5 years ago. Not sure if £450 is such a great deal for the 710 11.

I bought the 510S with last years i7 processor. I would always pay the extra for i7 if you want speed.
Yoga book black is £544.97 on Amazon you can pick it up here for £449.99 less the 10 percent on quidco.
Edited by: "malm" 24th Aug 2017
the 449.99 one seem to be out of stock ?
I have a dell laptop, which is a bit heavy. An i7 4500 which is't particularly fast, its a 15" laptop, I would need to do general data management.

I'm not sure for performance what the best would be to go for.

Want it as light and manouvarable as possible, but not sure what would suit me better 11 or 13, and if i need a yoga?
Where's this 10% cashback? Showing 3% on TCB for me. 7% for gaming.
Was 10 percent today looks like they have changed it.
10 per cent cash back on quidco for yoga books.
In the description for the laptop, it says Intel Iris graphics is optional. This enhances graphical capabilities but doesn't say if it's included in the machines on offer...... anybody have any idea whether it is or not as I don't want to get the lower spec if possible?

Also, anybody know what delivery times are like and is the warranty return to base location in the UK?
Edited by: "Franky1971" 24th Aug 2017
Gutted missed out on the TCB 10%, now it's 3% ...
