Been this price for a while ..... Don't be fooled into thinking it's a "great" price
They should also provide free eye test and voucher for glasses after year of using this

Have you a link ?
Worth about £300 imo.

Fuzzy, TN panel as well.

Automatically COLD.

The Lenovo 310 is 6£20 cheaper on Amazon with a 6th Gen i3 and 1TB HDD, but superior screen size & resolution, plus webcam.

You could put the difference towards a SSD and end up with arguable a better all-rounder.

Still not seen anything to compete with the black friday/cyber monday deals yet, though.

Try this:-HP 250 G5 i3

Much slower processor and no SSD.
I'm quite sure this has a awful TN screen, which Lenovo downgraded from previous model. Would advise you to check instore.

Click just found this deal.

anything for £200?
Great find heat added. If You look for touchscreen probably still the best deal hotukdeals.com/dea…278
The problem with low budget laptops is that they ALWAYS cut corners one way or the other. Often they give you a naff cpu but still give you a stupid amount of ram to make it seem like it's better than it really is on paper. This one seems pretty balanced but the screen isn't up to parr and who wants to be buying a 720 screen at the very end of 2017?

It really isn't.

You'd get a Yoga or an x360 for that money. That Asus is generally just an expensive/confusing middle ground between a tablet and a laptop imo.
I have ordered one of these for pick up. Buying one for my parents and want to get it from a place that has a physical store? Any laptops with this spec and a full hd screen in the same budget anywhere else?
Currys also doing yoga 510 with AMD A9 processor, 128 GB SSD and 4GB RAM for 359 with a full HD screen . just checked it out in store today . a bit heavy and keyboard not backlit . there is a free slot to add additional RAM though

You will probably struggle due to the demographic you fit into.

Your only real mainstream options are doing to be PC World/Currys, or perhaps Argos.

These companies seem to have changed tact so that they take advantage of "comfort buyers". I haven't really seen either selling a decent laptop under £400 - they, instead, seem to stock bespoke models that have poor quality components that, to the layman, might look good as a package, but aren't. I'd say a £350 "good" laptop from an eTailer would cost near £500 on a high Street store, unfortunately.

The AMD one has 1TB HDD, finger print sensor and backlit keyboard - the Pentium Gold one has the SSD (I have that one), but no backlit keyboard or fingerprint sensor.
