It seems able to provide everything you need with full hd screen, SSD and i3-7. Are there ways you can save more on this laptop?

I'd suggest you put the model number in the title 320S. Also there's a number of posts about similar models but not sure about this version. I'm sure some will say it needs more RAM and disk space but it's not bad for the money.
I bought one of these on Saturday and can say I'm very pleased with it. Helped by the Manager throwing in the £30 Knowhow cloud storage valid for a year at the till when I paid.

Once the crapware has been removed (although fortunately not too much) and the Windows 10 Creators and Fall updates are eventually downloaded and installed - something that took hours, the machine is now very quick and even with the whole Office 2016 Pro Plus suite installed it still has 90Gb free.

It is very well built, great full HD screen and lovely design. It's boot up time is around 5 seconds!

Ram can be upgraded but requires the removal of the bottom part of the chassis. The screws don't look a problem, but the very tight clips which need prising all around, would worry me. Not sure I could bear to do this on the lovely chassis, as I'd be worried about damaging a clip or marking the casing. I think you could add a 2.5" mechanical HDD as well, based on photos I've seen online, but again you've got toget the base off. Whilst it's under warranty, I think I'll leave it.

It runs very well with the extremely fast SSD and the DDR4 ram. Definitely recommend.

It just seems so light and well built and for the price other ultraportables cannot match really.

What bloatware did you need to remove. Trying to decided if it's worth doing a clean Windows install or not.

Not much. Mcafee and Microsoft Office trial. Few other bits and pieces (shortcuts). Biggest irritation is 1709 windows update which literally tied my broadband and the Lenovo for hours. Fine now.

I did think about a clean install but pretty happy with 90Gb free.

14" screen is perfect for me with full HD IPS. Keeps the overall size of the machine just right,

That good? Or is there a problem with 14" screens?
What's this like for multitasking?

I have a habit of having 15 tabs open on average?

Theres an i5 version with 8gb ram at Currys for £479 which I'm considering. But wondering is it worth paying the extra or will this one suffice?

It will 'suffice' but its definitely worth paying the extra if you use alot of tabs at once, open pages simultaneously etc. i5/8GB simply feels alot snappier. On my Lenovo Y series, my default RAM usage is about 3GB with a couple of Chrome tabs open.

Aw man, Lenovo should probs have got in touch with you before they began developing this just to check. It's all been a terrible waste of time now...
I have this laptop, due to the SSD you can allocate 4gb of it for pagefile giving it basically 8gb RAM and the thing flies. I can have multiple tabs open with YouTube video, word documents etc etc. The screen is beautiful, plenty bright enough and viewable at all angles. Highly recommend, it's also way lighter than my old Chromebook
Also battery lasts anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on screen brightness and what you're doing on it. Hardly any bloatware on it either, just an antivirus trial and Office and a couple games which come with stock windows 10 anyway. Also deleting windows.old folder gives you 20 gig extra
I'm thinking of replacing my Acer Aspire E15 i5-4210U 4th gen. 4GB / 1TB HDD would this be a noticable upgrade? Obviously the HD screen but in terms of performance and speed?

Will this play Football Manager 2018? It's the only gaming I do on a laptop

Actually it's running Windows98 .... but T&C's say max 7 years old so no joy
