Sadly the configurator tool does not offer an option for any Lenovo product to be supplied by a UK-based merchant.

You need to remove the 1TB HDD.
I own this and bought it from Lenovo back around Black Friday for about £530 including the newsletter 10% off. Quidco has tracked for it as well so we'll see if that comes through too.

The main complaint that other people seemed to have with it is that it's a single RAM slot so you'd need to upgrade that single 8GB stick with a 16GB stick and not get the benefit of dual RAM. Personally I'm not bothered as 8Gb is fine and it's a great machine for the money. OK, battery life isn't amazing but again not a huge issue for me personally.
With the GTX1650, it puts this at £639.Only with the GTX1050 you get £589.

Not a bad configuration, I would swap the 1TB hdd with an M2 ssd and Definitely opt for the IPS screen option.
just purchased this with the i7 but 17" screen, can not find an i7-9750H , 512 ssd, 16gb memory anywhere near the price i have just paid £684, with the sign up option for 10% off, shame i'm not a student with 20% discount which would have made it approx £608

Are you planning on doing any gaming with it? If so, it would've definitely been worth upgrading to the GTX 1650.
Hi m3racer123
I'm using more for a decent spec family PC.

Would this be powerful enough to be “virtual reality headset ready”?

It meets the minimum requirements but frame rates would be low, ideally you want at least a GTX 1660ti for a good experience.

Heated up and placed an order with a 256GB SSD for an additional £9.

That should be more than £9 extra, did you select the IPS screen or not?

I just checked and it appears I selected the FHD screen. I will get onto live chat in the morning.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks - So the GTX 1650 wouldn’t suffice - what would be the difference?

If you don't need it urgently, it's worth waiting because the next generation Ryzen laptops are coming next month.
It says you can upgrade the keyboard to a backlit one for an extra £10, does it not come with a backlit keyboard as standard. Any help with this would be appreciated

That's correct, it's probably worth the upgrade.
Is this laptop still for sale and if so what’s the faster posted time you can get this laptop?

I tinkered with the configuration and ended up with the 17'', i7, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd, gtx 1650 and the backlit keyboard for £747 which I think is quite good. Now just to wait 6 weeks for it to arrive. Thanks for your post!

It's still a good deal, but the single-channel RAM does limit gaming performance a bit.
I hate to be the one to ask
Dont know much about laptops
Recently been looking to get a laptop where I can use for daily use but also gaming (Cod warzone etc)

This seems like a good deal, if anyone has any advice on which customisation would be best for me and best price wise would appreciate the help. Thanks
