Keyboard is part of the product and pen comes as standard for this version. I'll try to restate the deal title, it isn't the clearest
Looks like there's no Thunderbolt 3. Makes it a no-go for me.
Price is nice. Have some heat!

Thunderbolt is mainly a Mac thing. It hasn't really taken off with Windows based devices. USB 3.1 is the closest you'll get to a similar type.

Nice, and a good price. But it is not quite in the same class as the Surface Pro 4, which has a much sharper display.

Tell that to my XPS 13 9350. It had Thunderbolt 3 (Intel tech) in October 2015. The macbooks only got it in October 2016. Apple also put in software limits on their devices to stop them working with any 'unapproved' devices from other manufacturers (for instance, eGPUs don't work out of the box on any mac os version except High Sierra which is still in beta). This means they're no gold standard for compatibility, for that you want a Windows device.

That said you'd be right for the earlier generations, TB1 and 2 were generally Apple territory. Wish they hadn't decided to be nasty now.
Nice find! Tried to use student discount but didn't work with this deal.
This deal is now expired I presume ? can anyone else still get this ?

I think it was a bank holiday special. Offer has ended for now, although the 4% code should still work.
