Steer clear of Lenovo at all cost. Horrendous customer service. (if you thought Currys are bad Lenovo are on a different level).

To sum my recent experience with Lenovo from 3 purchases:

1- A c740 15", cancelled due to 2 failed delivery attempts although I had called and asked to have it delivered on another date as I was not in that week. Three weeks have passed and they still have not issued my refund. Btw, I have been calling them every other day and it's just frustrating to speak to their customer support..

2- A c740 14", a few days after receiving a confirmation from Lenovo, my order was cancelled as it turned out they didn't even have it in stock. I lost out on other offers because they sold me a device they didn't even have in stock. Once they realised their mistake, to make things worse they decided to just cancel my order and issue a refund. When I complained, they said they could only offer 5% discount on the full price when it's back in stock.

3- A c940 14", thankfully, I actually received this laptop just yesterday.

Apparently they do good laptops but don't expect much of their customer support when you face problems with ur purchases.
No Thunderbolt 3 even with Gen 10 intel CPU. Cold
Full HD by the way

Totally agree. Abysmal service. Best avoided

Still much better than buying from Currys Pcworld as they outsource warranty repairs to themselves. The Currys Techguys ask you to call their support numbers inside Currys stores and don't pick up the phone. I have had intervene on behalf of my non technical friends several times when these Currys employees blame customers to avoid warranty repairs.

Never heard this before, not that I've ever used their CS, never had to. Can you elaborate a little - use Lenovo a lot for my work...
I've had a Lenovo as my main work pc since 2014 and it has been as good as gold albeit it had a dedicated GPU to boot - if you're looking for best bang for buck you can't go wrong with Lenovo - ok it doesn't have the aluminium chassis etc but it's still good for what you pay
I bought laptop on the basis they had a price guarantee. I asked them to refund the difference CS had no idea and asked me to email them the URL and proof - which i did . They refused to honour it. Ended up dealing with different people on email and on call. All totally useless with no power resolve anything. I have ended up returning my laptop. 7 days later still no email about refund. Once they do email i am told it's another 7 days for refund. No chance of ever speaking to a manger to resolve. Check Trust pilot reviews and their own forums. Nightmare to deal with
Lenovo? No thanks. No durability, no CS and no consistent quality. Don't be tempted by their discounted prices. They are there for a reason.
