whoever fixed the direct link, thanks!

not bad, not bad at all. why isnt this hot?

For £299 you can get the lenovo u450 from the same website. It has a faster processor, more ram and a bigger hard drive. For the sake of £30 the other is a better deal. Both offer good value for money however Hot

And it was only posted an hour ago, plus its late at night. Give it time.....

I'd have thought that as they are 2Gb and 3Gb it's 32bit.

Celeron processors are awful

Can I use the HMDI to stream the footie to a flatscreen. What will the picture quality be like - will it be jerky?

This isn't 1998. Celeron CPU's were fairly bad in the past (apart from the old 300mhz ones that could be clocked to 450) but todays are excellent cheap little cpus. They're a heck of a lot quicker than the fastest atom cpu and plenty quick enough given what this laptop is aimed at. If anything, the weak link in this is the crappy intel intel graphics. Would have been nice to see a dedicated nvidia chipset.

Might not be the fastest processor but get rid of Windows and put Linux on and you then have a cheap rocket ship!

Hot from me and very very tempted!

This deal is HOT!

as already stated in the original post?

I have a U350 with the SU2300 and I installed 64 bit win 7 using the cd key fine. It runs windows 7 perfectly and i am extremely impressed for what it cost. I have added a hybrid drive though and it does make a difference more so on win 7 startup.

Excellent laptop, ordered mine on Sunday night, came today at 1 o'clock. Quick enough for me to browse the internet and is very well priced. It's going to be used along side/replace my old 15.62 screen, and going down to 14" is barely noticeable, but just makes it easier to carry and lighter. On the light-ness note, it weighs nothing! Its also nice and thin too. It runs very cool, got it on a cushion and its barely warm to the touch.

Slight down-side is no DVD drive, may be a deal breaker for some, but wasn't high on my 'must have' list. 10/100/1000 LAN is a nice feature too. plus the fingerprint reader, may well seem a little of a gimmick, but it's actually pretty useful.

all in all, for the money, id recommend it. Quality buy and worth the money easily.
